Thinking of y'all as I arrive at The Wharf. www.thewharfal.com It's beautiful! All inclusive resort with a theater, shops, six restaurants, spa... I may not leave here for ur days! haha. now we will be headin to the outlet mall tomorrow for sure! Let the games begin.
 
Y'all I never thought I would be this successful this early...I just got an interview Invite from EVMS...that makes number 5 with two being public schools OOS....holy smokes!

Why would you not think that? Your stats are far and above most everyone on this board. You applied to way too many lower tier schools for the stats that you have. There's no reason for you not to get interviewed at every single one. But Congrats and good luck on the interviews! 🙂

hahah thanks berken....im not complaining, i just need to figureo ut how my teachers are gonna feel about this.......My school requires class attendance...SO i cant miss more than 6 days of MWF or 4 of t th classes.

That's so awesome Chubs! Congrats! Man, with all these EVMS invites pouring in, I've GOT to get my secondary sent off! I should be done with it tonight. Being in-state, I think I have a decent shot at an interview. 👍

Hope your 5 interviews turn into 5 acceptances! :luck:

And for some reason, your avatar gives me the heeby-jeebies.. I think it's the fact that a faceless figure has a pointy object.. not sure, but I think it was in a scary dream I had the other night.
 
man, i'm starting to freak out...
i got rejected from pritzker yesterday and the first UIC interview was posted on the interview thread. I know i shouldn't expect anything so soon with my numbers but...doesn't change the fact that i'm nervous as hell that i won't get anything at all! I just wanna go to UIC, is that too much to ask?!?!?!

Yeah, I guess he is a little freaky. I liked it because it was just so random. I mean, what is it? Just a guy holding some utensils with no explanation? I dunno.

I also like it because he strikes me as being somewhat proud. Like he's happy he has the fork and spoon.


I'm sure I'll end up changing it one of these days, but I'm too lazy now.

It turns out that there is an upside to rejection - my boy seems to think I am in need of pampering. At the very least it seems I'll be getting 18 nice dinners out of this cycle. 😀

Hey you gotta celebrate the good and bad in life. At one point in time I was actively celebrating everything bad that happened to me, but that got to be too much celebrating. 😛
 
Vacation is FABULOUS.... especially now that I figured out the internet! Haha!

Went shopping at the outlets today, followed by a 90 minute massage....drool. It's supposed to rain tomorrow, so I'm not sure what our plans will be, but I'm having a great time.

Tropical Storm Fay is brewing down off the Caribbean. Hope it stays west. We could use rain, but no one wants a tropical storm/hurricane.

Ew Vandy has lost its mind. Oh well. Happy pampered-dom!

I will be working on Loyola...hopefully my last essay heavy secondary...HOPEFULLY.......

I finished Loyola today and worked on Vandy (and UCSD, obviously). I still want Vandy to be perfect before I send it out...i really don't want them to regret their decision 😛

Haha I know what you mean. I was all motivated to get Vandy as pretty as possible since now we have relatively decent odds of getting in....Loyola, however, is not turning out that way. I can't print it out until I'm back to work on Monday anyway, so I could spend the whole weekend on it, but I just have NOOOOO motivation left, and it's such an essay-heavy application. I feel terrible cause I know I'm not doing as good a job as I could, but ugh, why would they send it so late? I am blessed enough to actually have interviews already and I just feel like I should be past this step in the application process....


blah, I need to just suck it up already.

but you're right...i have a lot of motivation to do vandys! but not duke.
 
Gotta say though, every day that goes by for me without an interview is more and more depressing. And then Pritzker this morning tops it off... You guys are amusing enough though, keeps life interesting! 🙂

P.S. I spend my days neurotically checking email... Think I'll be able to abstain for the weekend knowing no interview invites are coming?

yeah its horrible, im actually starting to resenting the weekends.
