yea, i mean currently i am interested in surgery: CT, plastic (burn not cosmetic), ortho and EM. other pre-meds just freak me out sometimes.

plastics and ortho are hard to get into, but at my school the match rate into those specialties is > 90%. I dunno what it is for Rush but it probably isn't that much lower. BTW, my PI went to Rush, and he was a past director of RSNA... haha

Yeah, part of my saving grace as an undergrad was that I was able to have experiences that are VERY different from the traditional pre-med experiences (double humanities major). I'm sure it's gonna be harder when I can't just take a music theory class because I happen to be very good at music theory.

Cant you just get the iPOD touch since it has the same functionality without the added hassle of the billion dollars a year plan from ATT...

Oh and drizz, do you know if Colorectal surgery is a tough field to get into, post gen surg?

It's not too bad as long as you don't mind going through a hard gen surg residency... I am going to pass on that haha. I was gonna do ortho but lifestyle is pretty important to me, and seeing how my brother is living as a PGY-2...

My science OTOH was barely rescued with some post-bacc work and a graduate degree 🙂eek🙂.

Did I mention I'm kinda worried that I'll suck at medical school?
