Ah, but they're marvelously well-written (Tolkien was a huuuuuge linguistics/etymology scholar who helped write the OED) and serve as the model for most modern fantasy.

Yeah, Mr. Nola was just saying how smoothies are far superior to any alcoholic drink he'd ever tasted 😛. We could throw a few non-alcohol parties in Houston. Our mixed drinks would consists of mixes of different kinds of fruit smoothies 😀.

Mr. Nola is a wise man. And I used to not drink at all, and people would nag me all the time about it so I sympathize with his plight.

Got my lesson read for sunday school as well as two chapters of the homework done. If I can get the other two chapters read tomorrow, monday I can start working on the mounds of paperwork I have... (im cramming as much of this class as possible in before spring break)
 
oh, and one last thought: it is less than 80 minutes away from March, and March is the month that holds the all-important match day.

Therefore, it is slightly more (but just slightly) than 4 years from OUR match day. Holy $hit.

4 years isn't long at all, guys. Are any of you slightly nervous about this year's match, just hoping everyone gets what they want?

😳 If you saw my follow up answer, I said that between private and public it would make a difference, but otherwise, between two public, it would not...

Plus the answer to your question has the added baggage which makes the situation different IMHO...

Yeah, I have this friend (a girl) who keeps posting notes about Islam (to explain the tenets of Islam to the lay public??) and all of them are incredibly misogynistic. Also, the bad character in all of the stories is a 'lovely Western girl named Mary Anne."

Little did I realize that all Western women were automatically strumpets!! 🙁🙁🙁🙁

Yeah, I have a hard time understanding, I guess, because I've never felt pressured to drink. But usually if I don't feel like drinking, I'll hold a drink in my hand and take a couple of sips. It's not that I get drunk all the time; it's just that I'll usually try a couple of sips of X if I feel like it.

I dunno. I respect him for his decision and the last thing I want to do is to pressure him to drink.

It surely isn't very healthy.
 
😛. Yeah, suffice it to say I didn't go to many parties as an undergrad.

But hey, my graduate school has been a #1 party school in the nation several times in the last 10 years.

BTW, my curfew here, at home, in Florida, where I am doing my graduate degree: Midnight.

smoothies are sooo delicious. i love jamba juice and stuff like that. i also like to make my own smoothies for brekkie.

I am the smoothie guy at my place... just tell me the fruits and the base and I can make you whatever you want... I am best at whole fruit smoothies though... I sometimes mess up with the milk based ones😳

Oh and the scenery is beautiful. Is it really like that in New Zealand? And also was it shot on the North Island or the South... or all over?

My classmates will tell you that I have the ability to mix inordinate amounts of alcohol into a drink while having it taste very innocuous... dangerous ability indeed 😀

People at some of the 'colleges party really hard though... actually lol I could tell you some interesting stories (especially about mine, although you might know them anyways!) Being the only guy at an all girls school was cool though haha

Smoothies are even better with alcohol though 😀 I can make an awesome strawberry banana smoothie with amaretto and a little baileys and it tastes like a dream haha

good quality mixing alcohols, lots of ice, a shaker, and the right mixers! It's possible to make appletini's @ 28% ABV that taste like apple juice if you're good enough, but that's pretty dangerous because you can get annihilated really quickly. That drink can probably be made the strongest because the mixer actually has 17.5% alcohol in it. Cosmos are pretty good too if you're careful because cranberry juice is so strong tasting.
 
I had this drink in mexico, that was by far the most delicious ive ever had and 4 of them got me drunk. It was sort of like a pina colada but with strawberry stuff?? It was called Lava something, I think.
