There's a lot of variations on the tropical drinks. It's really easy to make something tropical tasting that will get you smashed easily. My buddy had a tropical themed party at the beginning of the semester that was just a disaster. He had footprints all over his walls at the end of the night haha

My sister is coming next weekend, so I have to come back next weekend, which means I will not have time to do homework/study next weekend, since I usually cannot study at home... so I need to finish my Turkish homework which is actually 4 weeks overdue😳 so that I can start my 20 page paper, which is due in 1.5 weeks...

It is more my parents not allowing me to enjoy my weekend🙁... I went on line to go to the online Turkish-English dictionary, and I got lectured on not watching movies on my computer, when I should be studying... I got freaking lectured for freaking doing my homework😡
 
I am gonna go sleep... I have a long day ahead of me...

Bye berk, and stop smoking pot... I know it is Berkeley and all, but still... or at least make sure there are no pictures that show up on the internet.

My roommate, who is a second year, says I am a bad influence since I never study:laugh: I complain about studying for atleast 2 hours for every hour of studying that I get done...

It's not relevant to a school you're considering...and I think you would have seen it for yourself if you'd visited. The city/school are an acquired taste...even most of the people that live there don't like it.

I'm definitely not making fun of anyone's religion and my feelings about Islam have NOTHING to do with any political convictions. Believe you me, there's no fun involved when you read the kind of notes this person posts -- incredibly, incredibly disturbing, IMO. Also, I'm also not saying the Christianity (for example) is a superior religion -- I'm sure there are parts of the Bible that could be interpreted in a way that would also make most people's hair stand on end.

But the point is, I'm not a big fan of the whole insult to the freedoms women have in Western cultures. No, I never said the US was the best place on the planet. But to actually portray the people in the US as EVIL? To diminish the importance of the freedoms I have in the US -- to pursue a career, to get a safe abortion, to have my religious beliefs respected, whatever? Very uncool.

Hey drizz thanks for the info last night. I finished my LOI to my dream dream school...it is going out tomorrow first thing in the morning.

I was also wondering is it ok to express interest in other schools as well, but strong language that implies more than what you mean?

god i love french fries.. i dont eat them often but they are definitely a terrible weakness.. but pretty much only mcdonalds fries or chinese take out fries with hot sauce.....

aww.. thanks. but my reason is different.. columbia used to me top choice and I love EVERYTHING about that school except location. I need to get out of uptown manhattan.. 4 years is enough, but damn i love columbia's new curriculum...

Yeah, I have a hard time understanding, I guess, because I've never felt pressured to drink. But usually if I don't feel like drinking, I'll hold a drink in my hand and take a couple of sips. It's not that I get drunk all the time; it's just that I'll usually try a couple of sips of X if I feel like it.

I dunno. I respect him for his decision and the last thing I want to do is to pressure him to drink.

It surely isn't very healthy.
