Did any of you add schools you are waiting to hear from to "schools to receive your results" on fafsa?
 
yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!! Nor'easter....My first one and I have been out here for almost four years!!! IT IS ABOUT FREAKIN TIME!!!
 
I was asking because some schools asked us not to submit until after we got accepted

lol, i was kidding but seriously a 3.97 is ridiculous especially if Cal is as difficult as I have heard. Do they even have 1% get that?? It must be all communication majors if they do, haha.

I put down all the schools I was waitlisted at or have yet to hear back post interview. I even threw in UCLA eventhough I didnt interview there. I dropped dartmouth though, because its so cold up there😛

Seriously? Most schools told me no matter if you have not heard anything or if the waitlist is a death sentence, add them...

I submitted circa 12am so may it still counts. Anyway not getting a great financial aid package from schools will just make my decision easier. Neither Sinai nor P&S had a March 1st deadline

:laugh: I'm entering med school sans any official honors designation on my diploma, and I think it's going to be ok 😉 But congrats/good luck to everyone furiously pushing for those extra words of Latin on their degrees! 😀

Oh, I completely forgot about that deadline... Thank God I already did the FAFSA...

I think most schools with early deadlines actually just have priority deadlines, so if you submit a day late I think that just means slight chance of not getting the best aid.

Exactly...it's all polysci and mass communications majors. 🙄 I have no other school to compare Cal to, but it's not that difficult.

I turned down Cal... twice, 😛

Oh and at UCLA summa is top 5% to try to normalize the fact that comm majors and physics majors are held to the same standard...

Oh and I may have been confused, but it makes more sense than you being a girl :meanie:

Initially, I had to go to UCI which is only 6 miles away from my house since they did not want me to live away from home... Then after two years, I wanted to go to Cal and I was actually sad about not going to Cal initially... but my parents did not want me to be too far away from home... little did they realize that the next year their daughter will be 2600 miles away from them:laugh: and that in two years, their son will most likely be 1400 miles away...

Whoa, you better not be mean when you come interview...err... actually maybe you should be... considering I am on the waitlist and I wanna go...Change that... be as mean as possible during the interview... they want that😛
