It is about the same price and apparently Dallas has cheaper housing, but Houston has cheaper transportation... In general, Dallas is like 2% more costly...

I spend too much time thinking about Mayo, which is probably going to reject me right when my spring break starts ....

At least once they reject me, my letter of intent would be void and I can write another letter of intent to send to a different school and hopefully get off the waitlist.

Haha, I'm still waiting to get serious about studying for my own tests 😉

I guess I'm headed to classes at the moment (a course in nutritional minerals). Later, I'll be taking care of Mr. Nola, who's sick. Nutrition seminar at the end of the day.

Spring break is here for me on Friday.

When does your break start?
 
Morning, '13ers.

60 sounds amazing. The sky is clear and blue here, and it should get up in the 40s today. I can't wait for spring and cherry blossom season!

I took a sick day today because of a stiff shoulder and neck. Basically the only comfortable position is sitting straight up, so I don't even want to go to sleep. 🙁

it is just a little too rough around the edges...everyone is mean (DO NOT READ "goal oriented and focused"....sooooooo not true), sports fans irk me, pub trans is horrible for an east coast city, music scene not as large as I thought it would be...Philly used to be the mecca for the neo-soul/good hip-hop movement...Jill Scott, The Roots, etc...

The weather is not that bad; I can deal with the cold and the humidity (which is nothing like Houston humidity...OMG!!!!😱...LOL), and I kind of like the Philly's character.

Oh, and Philly is not close enough to the beach. I grew up close to the ocean in Los Angeles...so big bodies of water have a calming effect on me.

Dallas is not that great of a city either!!!!! But it is not that bad....just nothing to do unless you like spending time in malls, at fairs, or on ranches out in the styx...tornado country...too much open "country...." But cost of living is quite nice (cuz no one wants to live there...LOL)

Houston = armpit of the USA...wannabe New Orleans, wild life all throughout the city (most are ok...but I hate snakes with a passion...like phobia style...LOL...and there are water mocassins in and around the Bayous that run through the city...😱)...Nicknamed fat city for a reason...the food is awesome. It is probably the second most progressive city in the south (no including Miami) behind Atlanta. For some reason I still have love for Houston. I guess too much history there for me.

So I am lucky enough to have a few schools that I want to let go of (it's so hard to say goodbye). What is the best way to word a withdrawal from an acceptance?
