smaller than the Nat or?

I have to resort to going into the nat on mwf mornings because everyday after 3 PM it's just completely crammed.

it's way smaller than the nat, but seemed well equipped. Soon the spring break people will stop going and it will be all good. I just go late at night, then you don't have to deal with like freshmen trying to bench who need a spot at 85 lbs...

Columbia doesn't have a separate adcom for URMS, everything goes through the same admissions committee headed by Dean Frantz who is AMAZING!


I think that many of the people who got their acceptances were those in NYC or the metro area.


Give it time.. the mail takes longer to some places, I hope you guys get good news soon.

one what? spa/sauna. maybe i'm just really dumb. but yeah the gym is pretty nice, there just aren't enough machines and too many NU students. i always run/bike over 30 mins, so it just kinda blows when you have to get on then write your name on the list and wait. i'm lazy like that.

a friend of mine who lives in Madison got a priority mail acceptance from Columbia today, she interviewed 3 weeks ago. She's East Asian. So definitely not URM.

Maybe columbia uses priority mail for people who live further away, or maybe they are sent out on two days since it's alot of mail to mail out all on the same day. Maybe you'll get your letter tomorrow chad!

Yeah you should be careful with that. I rep shrugs at ~1.7x bw and I've been lifting pretty hardcore for 8 years. Especially with barbell bc it's easy to do it in an unbalanced way. Do shrugs with dumbbells bc your range of motion is a bit better and your wrist strength is a limiting factor that should prevent you from hurting yourself. I'm a big proponent of light weights until you have perfect form.
