Class of 2013!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Hey question: Did you guys ever read the SDN article about deferment/forbearance (about paying off loans during residency)? I kinda seem to have lost that article...don't know where it went off hiding.

I'm trying to explain the situation about paying off loans in residency to Mr. Nola, but it doesn't help if I'm not perfectly versed in it...

EDIT: nvm

Sorry, must have missed that one.

I might as well post all I can before I leave work, cuz once I get home, it's a wrap!

I know it feels good for it to be over. I have to be at work tomorrow at 630am! 😱 Oh boy!

Man... my taekwondo instructor was tough today...

😴
I had a good time at BJJ today. During the warm up drill I came to the realization that I need to do more cardio because I was pooped after it. How long are your lessons?

wow! that's an early turn around 🙁 you better get some rest tonight

I was actually studying since my final is in 13.5 hours😱:scared:

Congrats BD on 2000! And you will hear the good news from Howard and Drew soon enough...

Kids... hmmm, I had a lot of bad experiences as a child, which makes me not like them too much, but I want one kid, and I will spoil him or her rotten... I am obsessively nice to people I like😀 (I am the middle child, if you cannot tell😉)

Parents... my mom was a physician, but she quit when my older sister was born, and I am actually glad, because it was nice to have a stable support system at home who would help with everything and be there for us if need be, and diagnose us when we are sick. I think I would have not been as motivated to do well if I did not have a good family support system, because my sole intention for getting good grades when I was little, was so that my parents would not be angry at me... And it actually still continues to this day... (Can you tell that I am Indian:laugh:)

Okay I should get back to studying...

Yeah that tends to be what wipes me out more than everything else. My classes are 45 minutes.

Ever since our last test, though, it's been weird; he's been spending pretty much the whole class on cardio. So naturally, I've been finding myself really exhausted at the end of class.

I'm now watching Mama Mia! with my family 😀

That is one of the most god awful movies I have ever seen...

I remember on my flight back from NYC, the guy sitting next to me told me that he was gay, and that Mamma Mia was too gay for him:laugh:

Me & Mr Lyss (?) always fight when we get on the topic of kids because he wants to have 4 or some obscenely large number and I always shoot for the lower end. (It's easy to say numbers when you don't have to push them out!) I will probably spoil my kids rotten tho. I'm excited to be a mom one day & start a family.

My mom worked but she usually worked 9-5 jobs. My brother and I would spend a lot of time with grandma & grandpa whenever the rents were busy. My dad was an officer of the law (haha I always wanted to say this) in NYC so I really didn't see him very much. For most of my life I felt like I had a very stable support system of family, even if it wasn't always my parents. Even though my Dad was working most of the time, we have always been very close. I'm a Daddy's little girl at heart 😍 I'm not sure how I will balance it but I know I'll find a way to make it work. my mom has said many times she will help me if and when I decide to have kids... my bf seems to be against this idea of extended family support tho 🙁

That is hilarious. But I never get to do things w/ my family except when I'm home on break... so I guess I'll go w/ the movie they chose.

Thanks OMBD! You know how it is though. We have to trust Him, even though we want to do our own thing.

ohhhhh man you speak the truth!!!! I had this exact conversation with one of my bro's from church b/c I am having a hard time accepting that fact.

OK, I completely lost it when all of these random swimmers came out of the ocean and carried away the fiance during "Don't go Wasting Your Emotions" or whatever that song is... I mean seriously, :wtf:

What does the rest of your family think of the movie?

borderline ******ed yet intelligent at the same time? Or maybe you average it out?

Yeah, I'm probably somewhere in the middle since I listen to most of the artists mentioned (except for country or death metal).

I do love me some Beethoven though 🙂

Hahahha, Shamrock shakes are so good after a night of drinking. In other news, my roomate Courtney just kicked a hole in our wall by accident and then she covered it up with a piece of printing paper, calling it good as new. Hahaha!
