Class of 2013!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
My friend gets the day off even though he's not religious. I think it depends on where you work/go to school.

I'm one of the not-so-fortunate ones, haha.

I think Friday will be one of those days when most of the building's silent but because this is a research/hospital facility, there'll be a few people here and there.

I've always wanted to go to the cherry blossom festival in DC but I keep missing it. 🙁 Everyone I want to go with is busy around this time.

If the blossoms are still there this weekend I might just go look at them, since I'll be in DC visiting my parents for Easter.

And, the brochures STILL aren't here.

But I've studied all about the pelvic floor muscles that I want to for one day.

Do you have any pelvic floor muscles left to study?

I did learn the difference between the spinal/epidural and decided I want a low-block epidural when I give birth...

I will keep that in mind if I am ever present while you are pregnant.:laugh::laugh:

Pregnancy terrifies me. Give me the drugs, please. 😱

Ha. Yeah, I'm definitely not going the all-natural route. For me, though, low-block seems like the best option at this point. We'll see what I want when I actually get pregnant.

Only the most anticipated annual event in DC (aside from the high heel race)!

why low block epidural? Ive always thought of taking the easy route and getting a c-section and, you know, no stretching and stuff.. but after seeing a documentary about orgasmic birth I may reconsider but Id need some quite serious planning to achieve the exact conditions i am thinking about. lol
ugh. i am so not ready for kids lol

c-sections are one of the most disturbing procedures in medicine...

I watch health discovery a lot..and, well..I will have to say that c-sections are performed often when not necessary and when the patient doesn't want it. This makes me real upset.

Less unneccessary numbness (such as lower limbs) and much less chance of the bad "spinal headaches".

Haha. One of my first OR experiences. I think they are amazing...

Once you do anatomy you'll be 😱 about c-sections. There's so much stuff that's really easy to damage (and it happens a lot)

My brother is a urology resident and complains all the time about having to fix severed ureters from c-sections.
