Class of 2013!!!

I'm looking forward to the...hmm... weekend I'll have to relax before (between?!) the time I have to get ready and when I have to start class.:laugh:

In reality, I've got four weeks to play with. I'm sure a lot of that will be pre- and post-move sorting and settling.:laugh:
 
My job ends April 19th.

I don't know how I feel about having the time off. I tend to spend too much time worrying when I have time off, regardless.
 
My big plan over the summer is a nature hike. My close friend mentioned possibly hiking part of the Appalachian trail. I'm all up for it and hope it materializes. I'm ready to commit a full week.
 
I'm with you, p, and that's one reason I'm working til the end of may. I hate worry-time.

However, I'm sure I will be spending a lot of time with the pre- and post- move trouble too.
 
I think I'm too tired to come up with 29 posts tonight. To reach 5K.

Hehe, at least you know where you're moving!! 😛😛

I just want to move wherever I'm going to end up and stay there.
 
OK, here's a hypothetical scenario:

Assume you liked school X somewhat better than school Y, but, when all was said and done, and all costs were compared (living expenses, tuition, etc.), school X was about $23K more expensive over the course of 4 years.

Would that sway your decision?

Do you mean school X is 23K more expensive? Because in the above scenario, school Y doesn't have any advantages.

Regardless, I would go to school X if you liked it better. 23K for 4 years isn't enough money to sway my decision.

yeah, it's a little more than $5K/year, I guess.

$23K is a nice new car, though 😛.

I've been wanting to do that since I was little! Remember to bring lots of food! I remember someone saying that the #1 reason people have to ditch is running out of food...

my little cousins and grandmother came by. One is 13 now and as tall as me. sad huh? haha. She's on SB so my grandma brought her up on mini-vacation to see my other cousins (8,6, and 2). Just the girls came tonight, Sutton was sleepy so they took him home to bed. Poor baby.

I fail at life (aka Western Blots)🙁 Time to eat dinner then head off to my meeting to decide which artists and pieces will be in the Art Gallery Exhibition...

Myuu I think those shoes are AWESOME! I want a pair. And considering UTSW is 30K cheaper than my other options, I think I can splurge and get a pair, right😀

At Vandy, one of the students was wearing them... I think he is on SDN also... I would not shout out the name for fear of outing someone on SDN...

I'll take the med aptitude test later...

Inside track at UTSW=ultimate fail... I 😍😍😍 running outside... I am considering living 30 minutes from the school because the apartment complex has a nice 2 mile trail😎

I was originally planning on working a bunch, but as summer approaches I don't really want to. So I've already begun the great scaling back, I'll still work some though.

student parking at umc is across the street at the football stadium.

the med school is on the complete opposite side of the campus. its at least a quarter mile, maybe more.
