take a towel and apply pressure.

I sliced my lip while trying to go the extra mile shaving on the morning of the washu interview. took like 5 minutes of cold water + towel pressed against the lips to coagulate it.

Apparently the lip is a very not good place to split.

I envision millions of split lips in the Peds ER in my future rotations.
 
Lip cuts are the worst..so many capillaries in there, they never stop bleeding. Ive done it a few times while shaving.
 
hmmmmmmmm...never had to shave in my life. I can't empathize with you guys....Maybe when I am in my mid 30's :laugh:

off to the gym I go...legs (always a rough one) and biceps...then spinning

I dont grow hair on my lips *******es, lol. I just slipped when shaving underneath the lip. Ive had to shave since I was 14, and I hate it.

Hehe I guess that depends! I have pretty fine hair, which I don't particularly like, it's not very managable 😛
 
I'm going back to bed to get some sleep, so tired. Stayed up till 2 AM and set alarm clock to 9, roommate uses the microwave at 7 AM. I can't wait till I move out in 3 weeks. This guy usually goes to bed at 1 PM, wakes up at midnight, week after week. He's a grad student and other than TA'ing a class, all he does is watch "Japanese Sex Films", dude has like 30 books on films. Very disturbing, not at all erotic, screams in most of the films he watch. I usually have to close my door and wear headphones. And he's a statistics grad student....

And it's only 6:30 where you are; isn't that gonna mess up your sleeping patterns?
