Yeah it's unnerving when guys do stuff like that, even though you may think they probably mean no harm by it.

Hm, you're right. I'll let him know. It happens so rarely that I hadn't thought it worth mentioning, but it is, just to have it out there. There isn't much that can really be done about it and he's good about asking if he can bring me if he knows it's something I really want to go to or if he particularly wants me there.

The day I convince him to have his facebook profile say that he's in a relationship will be a very big day. :laugh: It bothers him to have a profile at all, let alone having any info on it. I pressed the issue when we first started dating and then I decided this was a battle I was okay losing.
 
Quirks: they're probably playing D&D and your boyfriend is too ashamed to admit it, haha.

But no facebook status? That's lame.

Yeah. Hopefully he will at least take it into account in the future.

And I feel you on the fb issue -- Mr. Nola is EXACTLY the same way re: having a profile on fb. I haven't brought up the "relationship" thing yet , but I kind of think he won't go for it (my last bf didn't and Mr. Nola is likewise a VERY private person).

Until I can really clearly articulate why it would be nice to have our relationship on fb, I'm not gonna touch it either.

EDIT: Mr. Nola currently has no status on fb and I think he'd change it if he thought it were a big deal for me, but I don't want to be the nagging gf, you know? Especially if I can't articulate why I want it on fb.

And yeah, the facebook status thing is kind of lame. Almost as lame as fake relationship statuses. I hate those! 😡

carrot top scares the crap out of me...i don't understand how anybody can be terrified of clowns and not be afraid of that creepy red-headed dude.

The little gestures matter and its not that he's saying he doesn't care, but us girls appreciate outwards and public displays of our partner's enthusiasm for the relationship. Its just as much you wanting to show people as him, ya know?

Off my soapbox now! I kind of resent the status too - its lame but I get really upset when I get in fights with whatever boyfriend I had/have and they publicly air our dirty laundry for all to see by announcing the dreaded "relationship status" change. I've said it before and I'll say it again, girls can just be silly sometimes.

There more than likely is going to be a curve, and from the sounds of people sighing, moaning, talking to themselves and/or rustling papers during the test today, not too many people were as prepared as they should have been. 6 of 24 questions were on it, and they were the "easier" ones.

Yeah I figure Mr. Nola has introduced me to his family and all of his friends and he's always proud to be with me in public. So he's off the hook on the fb thing.

For now 😉.

I think thus far he probably hasn't even thought of it as something important to even consider. He literally never checks facebook ever.

Girls are very silly. It confuses and annoys me that I am one sometimes. :laugh:

The facebook thing bothers me much less now that I know (and am known of by) nearly all the people that really matter to him, including his ex-girlfriend who I finally met a few weeks ago (she lives in a different country so it's understandable that we hadn't met yet), and who he finally told about me this past December.

It could be much worse. I've known people who, after the relationship, the friends and family of the SO didn't even really know the relationship had happened. 😱
 
Haha, if I was with someone for months and didn't meet the parents yet (unless there were some geographical constraints), I'd definitely be a little suspicious.

But you both know the important people, so your respecive SO's behavior is fine. Kinda wonder what people our age would do with a lot of their time without facebook though. There would definitely be more people on SDN!

I dunno man, I saw the first half and they looked terrible. No communication on defense, and not much on offense. It's just a mess right now. We definitely miss Billups, but what can you do at this point?

I don't even know what FAs Joe D can go after. Someone like Joe Johnson would be pretty amazing but I don't think that will happen.

Oh, that's depressing🙁. I'm honestly not really watching it, I've just been occasionally flipping on the TV to see the score and saw it was close.
