Yep, watching it for sure. Good thing my stats homework was postponed until Monday! 😀
Pianola, Are you doing your Masters in Statistics?

Cross stitching sounds like good old fashion, non-brain-taxing fun. I was into it a little when I was 10 or so. I know, what 10 year old boy does stuff like that, but it was kinda fun.
Maybe I should take it up again...
This is my current project.
It's for Mom for Christmas. The little girl looks a lot like I did at that age. She's going to love it.
Wow. That's really impressive.
I think the last thing I did was the word "SOCCER" with a soccerball for the "O."
I wonder if I have that stored at my house somewhere....
Wassup everybody! This is the day that the Lord has made. My and our invites are coming real soon! All we have to do is hang on folks and keep praying and believing. God bless yall!

BD, you're always such a ray of sunshine in this thread! I'm feeling pretty down today with no sleep and a lot of work to do, and I just read your hopeful post and it made me smile 🙂 . Keep it up, good things are coming to you soon!
yup, just over a week to go....
For me it's more like![]()
I agree with gradu8in and lfw. Coffee is the way to go.How many of you 2013ers like to drink black tea? I want to drink tea over coffee in medical school and beyond because I hate how regular coffee makes me feel. Fru Fru coffee is a different beast, but I cannot afford a $4 a cup addiction :O

She's going to the state capital tomorrow (and my house is halfway, so it's easier for an early morning trip).

and the 300 person class size?i think i may be in love 😍 .... with Jefferson
Should we refer to her as "Mrs. in2003"?
So I just had a missed call on my cell phone from a number at my undergrad (class of '07). My first thought was, "maybe it's a professor that knows someone on the admissions committee at that school I applied to and he found out that I've been accepted and wants to tell me before the 15th!!"
So I called it back and it was the alumni office asking for donations.
Now I feel really stupid.
well you know what that means?? You really cant go wrong, no matter what you pick!Hey guys!
So I'm halfway done with my 4-interview trip, after which I'll have nothing to do but sit and wait (the endless drought continues...), and I'm currently sitting at my host's apartment at Duke. Here's a problem I never really considered: I like ALL of these schools. Sure, one of them in particular was a somewhat worse fit than the others, but so far I've seen 4 and I think (I haven't interviewed here yet so I guess I'll know better tomorrow) I would be really really happy at 3 of them.......
Which actually sucks a little bit because it puts way more pressure on things. I guess it was too much to ask to only fall for one school and have it be the one I was most likely going to get into. Unfortunately, my assumptions about certain schools have proven to be totally false and I have, in fact, made an ass of you and me.
Sigh.
The wait until March is going to be torturous and evil and uuuughhhhh

Glad to hear it's going well, LET! I also liked your little blurbs in your mdapps about the schools, they were very entertaining and informative. Good thing you have that humanities major to increase your communication skills 😉 lol.. It inspired me to add little blurbs to my mdapps, if just to help me remember what I liked about the schools. Good luck tomorrow!
Hi gradu8in's mommy!Mom says hi!![]()
Yes, we do like her. 🙂Hi Mrs. Grad!We like your kid around here 🙂
um....i fell in love before the interview day started. as i was driving into the city and then walking around the area, it just felt right. odd feeling, i know. but it felt very comfortable and a place i could live. liked the campus. all the people were way enthusiastic and seemed to genuinely like it. very relaxed day over all. negatives--as chubby said, large class size and (imho) that there are like 3 afternoons a week tied up (unlike another fave right now of Maryland)...but, i don't know. i just really liked the area and the people i met.Really?? What did you like so much about it? I've got an interview in a couple weeks but I've been having a harder time than other schools getting info about the school.
actually, 255 😉 but...if you're rounding....and the 300 person class size?
You may feel that way now, but make sure you still use protection. You'll thank yourself later.![]()
