That would be cool, but to be honest I'd probably be pissed off at how long it would take to write out. I'd demand the pilot's phone number so I could just call him and ask.

You will get into UMich, and if not, don't worry, and besides all of SDN will revolt, and write letters on your behalf, and then you will get your acceptance, so you do not need to worry at all...:laugh:

Pretty sure it is a status page update at 5 or 6 Eastern on the 15th or maybe not till the 16th. But no, no midnight for CWRU.
 
The 'earliest notification' dates in the MSAR aren't right, are they? Several schools have verbally told me that their notification dates are different than those listed in the MSAR.

Are you guys finding that's true?

Sounds like there *might* be a status change on the Pitt status page. Maybe. We'll see 😉 I'll be checking but probably no news.

Well, Pitt says formally to wait for 8 weeks before finding out. But some people have said we'll find out the next couple of days. And there's a place to find out on the status page...(or so it seems).

So maybe it autoupdates at midnight? No clue.
 
I'm praying against an email, that would mean waitlist, the good stuff from stony brook is supposed to arrive via overnight package on the 16th.

Just think by this weekend many of you guys are going to be holding at least one acceptance, now that is exciting!!!!!:hardy:

I feel like the Match will be worse in like, an acute way (as in, the 5 minutes before we can open that envelope will be hell on earth) but this is worse for its unpredictability. There really isn't a day from now until (probably) August of next year I won't be checking my mail/email compulsively.

And that, my friends, is why I, unlike all you people, am actually DREADING the advent of Oct 15.

I feel this way about everyone on SDN too, for some reason. I feel like everyone is WAY better than I am and they'll all succeed before I do. But keep in mind that you can still get your success too! God will do exactly what is right for you right now BD2B! Keep the faith, man.

Depends on the school. I will be waiting on snail mail. Some will get an e-mail at 12:01 am tonight (lucky punks :meanie:). Some get a phone call some time around tomorrow or day after.

Just like everything else with med school admissions, it depends on the individual school.
 
Well, at least this torture is a good torture. In the sense that you will be getting some good news. At least it's not like being tortured in Hostel! :laugh:
 
Aww LET, I'm sorry. I understand that the wait is killing you. But with 6 interviews, you're in a great position! Vandy might not come (it probably won't for me either). So what! You have 5 other schools that will accept you! 🙂
