So at 12:05 am my cell phone vibrated and said "you have new email in your GMail account." I got super excited... but then I checked my email and I didn't have anything there. 🙁

Really? Someone with a 37 MCAT and a 3.9 GPA is fretting over not getting in at one school on the first day possible? When at least another 2 schools still have a chance of getting to him later in the day/week? And he has a bunch of other interviews lined up at top-flight schools?

Ohh come on spurs! We are all going to be disappointed at any rejection no matter how many interviews/acceptances we have.

Oh I really enjoyed Michigan, it's kind of a second home for me, so I was hoping I wouldn't have to wonder about it. But no, I'm good, it's a long process and I'll wait it out. After tonight, I'll have other things to worry about anyways...so drunken stupor of one night is ok. Self-immolation on the other hand - people don't come back from that sort of thing. Burns and all...

I charged it last night!

I slept at 9:30 and woke up at 5, so I do not need any coffee! I am wide awake and full of adrenaline for what will hopefully happen today!

LOL I had like half a dozen dreams about a school I might hear back from today, ranging from going back for "second look" to going back for a second interview and forgetting the bottom half of my suit and accidentally wearing sneakers, to getting around three different outcome emails. One was like "We're gonna ignore your atrocious second interview and focus on your first one, you're accepted." Another said "Sorry, we've decided not to accept New Hampshire or New Jersey applicants this year."

Although I know I'm 15.5-32hours+ away from an answer.

My life is now complete with the dancing monkey 😀. I'm so excited and so surprised. UF was a total surprise; I didn't think they'd get back to me until at least tomorrow.

I'm still looking around for an avatar, though. This one is going to be temporary, I think.


Aah, I can't believe I have a test today. :laugh: Need to focus!
 
Congrats pianola, and best wishes to everyone else hearing back from schools today/tomorrow. I hear Buffalo is sending out decisions in the next minute!
