Thanks!! That's good to hear. The USF secondary thread didn't have a lot going on so I had no idea what to expect. Sounds like I'll be enjoying myself!

It does get very humid (according to other non-Floridians). From my perspective, it's more that other places are just very dry 😉. I love humidity. So I'm kinda weird.
 
I just realized that I have never been to Florida, or Louisiana, Mississippi, or Alabama for that matter... we never went below Tennessee or Arkansas... The only gulf state I have been to is Texas...I think I have some relatives living in Mobile, Alabama though...

Seriously??? I cannot stand the humidity... When I was at Vandy, it was dry, and warm... the interviewer remarked that I came when it was California weather outside... In fact, all of my interview days have been exceptionally warm, and for some...the next day/ week there is a lot of precipitation:

After Galveston Interview, Ike came.
After SLU, it started raining
After UTSW, Ike passed through Dallas
After UMD, it started raining,
After SUNY Upstate it started raining

Maybe precipitation is a good thing if it happens after my interviews...
After Dartmouth, it started snowing...Hopefully I will get in:xf:
After Mt. Sinai it started raining... Hopefully I will get in:xf:

Too bad it was dry as a bone after my UCLA interview🙁

Lets hope it starts pouring after UVA!😀

Yeah I had to drink (water) like a fish, to survive SoCal. And my skin took a hit. 🙁 I guess it's all in what you're used to.
 
I love going to Florida in the winter and laughing at the Floridians running around with jackets complaining about the cold and the 60 deg weather mwahaha

It is the same here... But on the bright side, all of last quarter, I never once wore a jacket/ sweater/ sweatshirt to class. I only wore long sleeves twice...It is really cold this quarter...🙁

I too enjoy that. and listening to my friends in Texas tell me about their "blizzards"

I did apply to one school in the south and if I get in I may just have to go there so I can wear sandals, shorts and a Hawaiian shirt from November thru March.

Is this premier of biggest loser? Ive never wathced before. Those trainers are funny, especially the female. Tries to be so mean and scary, haha.

My fave place in Florida is Alligator Alley. I don't even know if that is the correct nme but my family would take me there every year and pull over and let me go look at alligators from the metal fence.

No. There are some snow on the lawns and stuff though. It's mostly ice. The sidewalks' snow melted when it was warm early last week. Then it became freezing again and the less dense of the H2O took over. Fallen quite a few times this past week
 
I actually like colder weather though, or at the very least, 50 degrees or less.

I can wear scarf and coat and hat and gloves to keep myself warm, but I can't go shirtless when it's hot, all the guys on my campus would get dumped by their gf's. Just sayin'.

It has never snowed once, when I interviewed... and since I cancelled Case/CCLCM, I guess I will not see actual snow this year🙁

Nice, nice. Yeah, we had a baby alligator in our lawn last year. See, Florida also has attractive reptiles. Yet another wonderful reason to move to Florida 😉.

Haha, yeah, but you know, in general I think guys look better with their shirts on. Apparently I'm generally alone in thinking this, but I'd much rather see a guy with a suit than a guy with a bathing suit on. Maybe I'm just a little strange.
