I thought it went pretty well, thanks for asking! The school is super nice, everyone was so laid back and friendly, the facilities are brand spankin new and it seems like a great place to go to school. Can't argue with 65-70 degree weather in January either 😀. They tell us next Wednesday so I'll find out soon if they thought my interview went well too! :xf:

I'm off today... I'm trying to decide if I should play GTA or surf the net looking for a vacation getaway. hmmm decisions decisions

I heard GTA 4 was not as much fun as the previous versions. True/false?

I'd find a vacation and get away from this wintery miserableness ASAP 🙂

I'm not a hardcore gamer but it entertains me. Who doesn't love messing with the pigs? It's also set in NYC which makes me laugh.

My fave was Vice City tho. It was hysterical!

I freakin' love GTA 4. It's my favorite by a mile. Although the constant calls from friends wanting to "hang out" get a bit annoying. But there's just so much going on in that game, it never gets old. Plus, I find Niko Bellic to be a likable protagonist.
 
I got my official rejection letter form UCLA today!!! Sweet. It was kinda funny tho....

Dad: (with a happy tone in his voice) You got mail from UCLA!
Me: oh thats a rejection
Dad: oh you were already told?
Me: Are you kiddin me? I havent heard anything in 7 months and you are holding a small white envelope

yea the calls get to be a bit too much. And the missions & storyline in GTA 4 are fun too

yea my dad is actually a cop and when he pisses me off I say "shut up pig" and he proceeds to kill me

I have already tipped my parents off about the whole "small vs. large envelope" thing. It was the same exact way when I applied to undergrad.

You can't exactly fit all the necessary forms for acceptance in a small white envelope, now can you? 😛

he usually goes with something referring to my spending all of his money... and then I respond about being his favorite child 🙂

Yea, rejections suck for about 30 seconds ( no one likes being told they aren't good enough) until I realize that I'm going to be a doctor no matter what any other school tells me.
 
I wonder how many people have made it through the process with out ANY rejections? I bet its never been done. People who applied to 1 or 2 schools dont count.... I'm talking about competitive applicants who appliked to 10+ schools.

I only have one rejection so far...and if I withdraw from my other schools I'll have only 1 rejection out of 19 applications 😉

Withdraw withdraw withdraw 😉

One of my friends last year had only 3 rejections for about 24 applications. But he withdrew from about 15 of them who didn't interview him 😉

I think there was a user last year called randomblackmanx who did not have any.

I have none thus far, but I'm not betting on that lasting indefinitely.

ummm, its unbelievable how stupid criminals can be sometimes. This guy sold hid his daughter into marriage for 16K, a 100 cases of beer, and several packages of meat. The only reason he got caught is because HE called the police and complianed that he did not receive his full payment of beer and meat so he wanted his dauhter back. 😕

I dunno, I feel like you can use your rejections as motivation. You'll be the person with a major chip on their shoulder, out to prove the world wrong. Or something to that effect.
