suhweet. Did anyone see the speech of the Black pastor after the inaugural address. His closing lines had me & my family rolling on the floor laughing! He's the man!

I wish I was gifted with photoshop talent so I could work 2013 into my avatar. le sigh

who paid him to say that?

Hell no haha. You couldn't pay me to get in my suit again... plus I'm not driving to Buffalo

Now that's funny.

Is your white-coat ceremony not a black-tie affair? (Ours is) - I realize this is completely different than an interview, i just bet you'll be in that suit again eventually, even if you aren't paid.

But I have a couple of professional-ish dresses as well... so we'll see when it gets closer.

Any one else REALLY looking forward to white coat? I feel it's one of the most significant early events of my career.

I don't even know what I'm wearing to work today.

meeee! I shall cry tears of joy!

That's sad. Boring class, or not enough sleep last night?

Not enough sleep... I got to LA at 10:30 since I wanted to watch House... in hindsight, I should have come back earlier, but it was a really good episode...

I am, though I feel my parents will get more of a kick out of it than I will.

I have realized I watch way too much television...

I tend to dislike ceromonies, so i'm actully not. My parents are, however, looking forward to it. I'm still a bit puzzled as to how they even know what white coat is.

Are all of your white coat ceremonies at the beginning of first year? I know a few schools wait and do them at the beginning of third year... but mine's during orientation week.

My parents are excited about White Coat too. If I go to Columbia, they say that they're going to come up and visit me any chance they get (I think they just want to go to NYC!) Me, I don't know - I mean it's a momentous occasion and everything, I just don't like ceremonies. I did not even want to go to my college graduation (and even then I skipped the big commencement and just went to our departmental ceremony).

Haha, apparently the break-up-your posts trend is catching, RySerr...😛

Eh, normally I'm not for ceremonies personally (but I always end up doing the whole big ordeal - the only child thing kinda makes that necessary).

Me too! But I was telling my parents about it a little bit and they were like...oh...do we have to come? That's kind of far away.. 🙁

 Sorry CRB, but that made me laugh.

I am excited about the white coat ceremony... I think it sounds like fun! I had to miss my sister's since I could not get a flight at the last moment🙁

I saw the video of it though... but it was not the same...

Obama had quite an inauguration address. He addressed EVERYBODY and I do mean everybody. JMO.

I might be able to help you out... I don't know if I'll get to it until later tonight (and you might have to remind me so I don't forget!)
if you could I would love you forever Chad!

Okay, time to go to Turkish...

Hoşçakalın!

Oh, and do you have a higher resolution version of your avatar? It's easier to work with the image if it's higher resolution but if not it's no big deal.
I'll look around. That sounds HOTT tho

lucky. my break in san antonio was fun, but i hate flying and i'm flying out to virginia tomorrow. so many flights 🙁

Aw. I meant 90 minutes til off work, but home is home regardless huh?

I actually dont mind flying... I don't have to do it a lot, but it's not that bad. Short, straight (non lay over) flights are the best.

Are you coming to VCU for an interview?!?! Yay if you are! We will probably be within like 500 feet of each other (I'll be working in the Children's Pavilion which is right across the street from Sanger Hall).
