my SO and are in San Diego with the rest of my rugby team (and hers) to watch the 7s tournament :luck: Its not exactly a textbook valentines day but we are both happy...haha

In other news, we won again last night!!! The score was 31-10 but it was against a team that we havent beaten in like 10 years or something (no one actually knows how long its been, thats how long its been). It was a pretty awesome feeling. Its the longest consecutively played rugby match in the country and we believe to be the longest running rivalry west of the mississippi. The winner gets this cup/trophy and we finally got to hold it and got a picture with all of the seniors and what not. Good times.

Well i hope everyone has a great saturday. i'm off to watch some rugby!!!

Going out to eat cause I got a coupon for free fondue dessert on Valentine's Day.

And then we'll probably play the Dirty Minds game unless he has a better idea.

Ms. Chad has to work until 4:00 pm. Then she's coming over and we're going to the grocery store. We're going to make dinner (that pepper-crusted tuna steak recipe that I got from ar 😉) and homemade creme brulee. Then we're going to watch Big Fish, which we've been talking about for a while. Not the most romantic movie, but it's one of my favorite films (and Ms. Chad hasn't seen it but really wants to). I wish I had it on Blu-Ray.
 
I am cleaning because we have guests coming over🙁

Hopefully, that would be awesome. I'm still torn apart because I love both Sinai and P&S. The thing is I didn't feel I did well at Sinai, and so was not expecting to have this problem. How do you all feel about these two schools?

Ok so I am trying to watch these streaming lectures at 2x speed, but the firefox wmp plugin only plays at 1.4x. Does anyone know how to play streaming videos at 2x?

I have nothing to do for the next 3 hours, have yet to do any work this semester, and have two assignments due before tomorrow night. I'm trying to get them in before 8 so I can be free for the rest of the night.

I agree... I went to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory I saw this box of chocolate covered strawberries... They looked delicious...
 
Mom had to find something red to wear to a Go Red Symposium for work this week, and her favorite work color is black, so that was a treat.....

Thankfully, I 😍 red.

I am so excited!

I have already saved a shopping cart worth of textbooks for first year on amazon (after doing much, much research on which textbooks are best for each subject) that I will buy as soon as I get to school. I have also done the same with furniture for my entire house 🙂o) on Target.com, and I'll get that when I get to school and...er...can afford furniture. For now though, SO excited.

Are you still set on Sinai or has the Vandy scholarship changed things?
 
I'm :soexcited: myself. I've been lookin at some books but haven't done THAT... let, u should "list" your first year list where we can all see it. Since you've already done the research.... 🙂

I have a few first year books and ive got a good idea of a few more, but i'll probably suck it up and buy most in the bookstore first semester.

Our school has a cool M2-M1 buddy system, and a lot of times the second years "unload" their first year stuff to their little buddies. Hoping I get a good buddy 🙂

Yeah, I'm basically set on Vandy...it's too bad that you can't go to two schools at once though! You should go to Sinai. It's a terrific place.

Haha true, well, I just mean that I really loved both schools and wish I didn't have to make the decision...ah well! Obviously I know that I'm insanely lucky and have zero cause for complaint.
