To get the 40 grams of protein I drink before bed, with skim milk, it would have like 40 grams of sugar, and I don't really want sugar right before bed

Yea. Other than the 100% whey, the rest are only like 1 scoop per day. The whey I drink like 1 scoop every meal when I'm at home. I take pro complex instead of syntha 6, and cell mass instead of creatine monohydrate on workout days, I keep those in my locker at the gym. Once I run out of 2:1:1 recovery at my locker (kinda expensive for protein powder), I'm going to substitute it with either whey or pro complex + cytocarb, since that's basically all it is, sugar + protein and charge you a load of money for it...

Syntha-6 isn't a very good protein (20% cholesteral per serving), but it tastes AMAZING, so if I have to drink that for breakfast to stay off of cookies/brownies/cheesecake, then w/e.

I need to get back into lifting...thinking about taking a weight training class my last term. Registration is today and I think I'm gonna end up with two legit classes and the rest 1 credit exercise courses:

ballroom dancing, yoga, rock climbing, and weight training. possibly competitive basketball and/or bowling.

next term is gonna be awesome.
 
woot my mom just called. I won't need to fill out any tax forms. Still have to fill out the fafsa though....

Lets see, last year at this time, I was probably playing world of warcraft, a friend got me into it during winter break. Played until spring break was over, and then realized, ****, I got the MCAT in 3 weeks, time to study!!!! Then after I took the MCAT, I realized, ****, I ate so much junk food that I was at 20% body fat, time to exercise!!!!

Time flew by so fast though. But the next 3 months gonna be painfully slow

OTOH, my V-day was fabulotastic. Mr. Nola took me out to a really nice restaurant. And then we played DIRTY MINDS! Woohoo!
 
wow gloryfield, you eat so healthy. i eat okay healthy. i definitely eat enough protein, fuits, vegies all the good stuff. but i definitely don't monitor too harshly what i live. i love eating too much to do that hehe

done taxes, fasfa. need to buy ticket and applying for housing. i'm leaving in less than one month. it's actually kinda sad, i'm going to be leaving all my friends and stuff

That is impressive. You've got the ingredients, I would say all you need is the proper nutrition. (I think we could all take some notes here from our resident protein guru.)

Sounds like a great valentines day. Mine was pretty nice too actually (as much as I try to hate this holiday). While I was away my bf drove over to my house and left a note saying "welcome back" for my family & he left me a note saying he missed me in my room. It was pretty cute. He must be up to something.

Man it is ugly here in Cali today. Hope it doesnt rain tonite. I have a championship game tonite for my softball team. We are called Hung Over! LOL

I finished cutting right before christmas and was 5.8%. In mid Jan I began the bulking phase, just finished my 7th week. I don't know what my exact % but I'm guessing it's around 6.3%, I put on a little fat, but I added alot of muscles, went from 151 lbs to 164 lbs now.

Huh? I didn't really understand his bodybuilder talk...just key words like whey, protein and creatine.

I'm just taking the PAC classes for fun. Gotta enjoy the last term.

It depends on your taste I guess, they taste good to me.

They are effective if you lift weights. If you are doing cardio they probably won't help that much. I don't do any cardio, I will probably get a heart attack when I'm a 43 yr old cardio surgery attending, while operating on a patient....
