What I have left to do is:
-By a new computer
- Finish my shot series', get an updated TB test
- Visit the eye doctor and switch to 24 hour contacts
- Visit the dentist for a checkup

And.... move to Jackson! 🙂🙂

Baylor makes us get a TB test at the school regardless, so no point in me updating that... I'm pretty sure I have the shot series taken care of.

Totally looking forward to splurging on a new computer! This clunky old laptop has had two whole dead lines of pixels running top-to-bottom for over a year now, and it's sloooooooooooooooow.

Even though my eyes are good, I should probably have them checked just to make sure. Don't want to have any problems seeing all the material we are about to have thrown at us.

My eyes only give me problems when it gets late and I've been wearing my contacts too long. I need some updated, more breathable, wear-for-a-week kind (so that if I can't take them out, it's all good)

It sucks, because this is biochem/endo/physiology stuff, which I am supposed to be good at, I had almost 100% in biochem last semester and did my research in endo... just some of the relationships are difficult to master.

same here! ive actaully started wearing my glasses a lot more and may keep doing that for the comfort and ease on my eyes... or maybe my contacts arent as comfortable as they could be and I should check out some different brands lol...
either, eye check must happen before I start.
 
BD2B, in case I missed it because you guys move wayy to fast to always keep up, i just wanted to ask about Howard? have you still not heard anything? I hope Howard gets their butt into gear and sends out your acceptance 🙂
 
btw, i just got back from the gym.. did almost 30 min on the strider with 10min of pushing arms and 10 min of pulling arms and just playing around with the arms during the last 10... that was intense.... lol But i love how tired and fantastic you feel after a work out. it hink i can really get into this whole gym thing lol

I haven't heard anything yet. Still holding on like a hubcap in the fastlane! It is coming, I know it is. I have faith that Christ is going to deliver me a huge blessing. So I am at peace. I trust Him completely. Although I will admit, I am getting a lil antsy. I am just so excited about medical school and about Howard. I have begun planning for my exit from California and my entrance into DC. I was told to do my fafsa because it would speed up the process, so that makes me feel really good.

haha yeah i found a way to have the ease of multiquoting while still increasing my post count. and thats another reason: i realized my post count is so low partly due to multiquoting lol

I'm 3 months post surgery, so it should be 90% healed or so, but that last 10% is gonna take awhile. I've been in the gym a bit but it still doesn't feel 100% so I don't want to push it 🙁

I work at a physical therapy clinic. I am both on the clinical staff and admin staff. Today I am admin and it is slow. But it's ok, cuz I can postpad.
 
and ar, I try to wear my glasses more... but I have extreme peripheral vision and so I feel like I can't see nearly as well with glasses. My eye doc and I talked about it last year, and she has a very good idea of what she wants to put me in. I'm gonna go in may/june so i'll be used to the new contacts by time school starts

Yeah, I don't think I'd have the mental or emotional strength (not to mention the $$) to reapply. That takes some serious inner strength and conviction. Man.

Is it bad that I'm a little bored right now cause I'm already 99% sure of where I'm going? Everyone is so excited about their non-rolling decisions and there's so much tension in this forum and I'm just sittin pretty. I'm pretty sure the two decisions I'm still waiting on are rejections, so I don't really have anything to stress out about. Anyway, I kinda wish I were all "oooooh what's in my mailbox!?!?!?!" too!

I miss the adrenaline rushes!
 
I don't miss it at all! haha. I'm sooo glad to be settled in a decision and all but have keys to my new apartment. July 4th weekend, here I come.

Holy crap its March already...
