In psychology they always teach that the way a person turns out has very little to do with the parenting they received. If I remember correctly, it's along the lines of 10% of the variance between people, with genes being around 60%. Many people don't like hearing about that research. :laugh:

Haha, my friends are exactly the same way. I ask them what they want to do, they say they don't care, I suggest something, they say "I don't want to do that." MAKE UP YOUR DAMN MINDS PEOPLE!

Haha, unless I freaked out, peed my pants, and then had a heart attack and died.

Whatever the case might be, I would NOT have lasted as long as BD has.

Yeah, I have dx'ed migraines. They run in my family bad. My sinus headaches turn into migraines if I don't keep my allergies under control 🙁

Applying has taught me the virtue of patience. I no longer stay up until 3 AM hoping for a interview invite as I did back in August -> October. I no longer leave my cellphone on during class hoping for a 507 call, lol. I also no longer bring my laptop to class (well, it's broken anyways) and constantly refresh SDN. I just let things be, if they happen, then great! I've already done everything I can.
 
This computer is amazing... like, next generation 🙂

its pretty much the top of everything dell offers.

(and actually its a 2.5k laptop, I had a twenty percent coupon) 👍

You guys definitely aren't more anxious than I, trust me on that one! And you are all helping me remain as calm and positive as possible. I greatly appreciate it!

I have thought about it, but I am trying to just keep the faith and let the Lord do His thang! As hard as it is for me. I have my days. But I believe this is the week, especially with that AAMC rule that is floating out there.
 
But BD, what if Howard sent you an acceptance a month ago and gave you two weeks to reply? What if it was lost in the mail?

Also, I think schools are required to fill their classes by March 15th if I remember correctly. And then WE have until May 15th to decide if we want to go there....

So schools that send out interview invites in late March/early April are already interviewing for the waitlist?

What if you interviewed before 3/15 but haven't received a decision yet? Same thing?
 
WashU says final decisions aren't made until April 15th. Maybe it's actually April 15th when they have to fill class?
 
I remember REL telling me in person that it was March 15th...maybe he posted it on the UCF thread. Let me check.

I know that they haven't. The director of admissions will send us an email saying that our letter is in the mail and we can call for our status. I haven't gotten that email yet, so I know Im still waiting. Also, I have been talking to the director of admissions for 3 yrs now, she knows that when she sends that email to me, 2 weeks isn't needed. I will need about .000002 sec to say yes I will be there! :laugh:
