Well, with the Nat, it's packed every day from about 2:30 PM to about 8 PM or so, so I go in during the morning when it's virtually empty. Usually the med students use the Nat during the early afternoon, and later on faculties/grad students/undergrads join in. On weekdays there are weight training classes starting at 11 AM, so you have to go in before that time.

Agreed. UTSW's indoor track is tiny... you have to do a bajillion laps to get a mile...

Oh well, they have the Katy Trail close by, so I can run over there, but they do have a good weight room at UTSW, which is good!

There are deer in the park across the street from where I live. Which is weird, because you can see big buildings like a mile away. They're huge too, since no one's allowed to kill them.

But cool, a deer! When I was at Dartmouth, the admissions office person told me that she actually hit a deer on the way to work that morning. We do not get many deer here in SoCal...

No, I was too busy getting the cold shoulder at McDonalds and scattered convenience stores. Interviewer at Pitt even called that part of the state "Pentucky!"😱

Don't worry, California is not particularly nice to me... and it is my home state... which is why I am stealing spots from other people's state schools😀

Hey! I missed you posting here.

On spring break now. Basically just hanging out with friends and relaxing, a rather boring spring break but it will have me recharged for the month long sprint to graduation.

Haha, I know. I was posting around but mostly limiting my sdn time, it was hard for me to jump back in here once i was out for awhile.

That sounds nice, can't argue with a little r&r. I can't believe most you guys will be done with school so soon! I'll be goin strong until mid-june. Damn quarter system...you semester folks finally get your revenge!
