Class of 2013!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Hmm...that's a good question cause I don't know all of their names.

I like curries a lot - especially lamb curries. I also like Dosa (but I don't know what part of India that's from). I like Naan of course. I like samosas. Gulab Jamun (sp?). Mango lassis (sp?)

Actually...is there any Indian food I have yet encountered that I don't like? I don't think so, actually.😍

Haha, it's all good. Everything I've tried so far, anyway.

What do you like best, funky? What do you like best when your mom makes it? 😀

Yeah, I don't know how I'd feel about being segregated by gender. Maybe I could keep you company with the little kids, funky? 😀
When I go out to eat, I usually get chicken seekh kabobs or chicken tandoori (stereotypical...yes, but these need the special tandoor oven, which my mom does not keep at home:laugh:) For vegetarian options, I tend to get the rava dosa (which is basically the regular masala dosa with cashews😍) and the samosas also. Oh and Dosas are generally South Indian dishes...

As for what my mom makes... hmm... I love it when she makes roasted lamb... or full chicken called Chargah...

I like Gulab Jamun, but the best Indian dessert IMO is Ras Malai😍

Oh and you did very well with the spelling👍

Oh and about the playing with the little kids... neither the dad or the mom want to take take care of the little kids for the whole time, so they keep being shuffled from side to side... there is still the segregation... sorry🙁
Also, I own up to being a stereotypical white girl with low spice tolerance. I hate it when stereotypes are right, but unfortunately this one's got me right on the money.

Oh and the spices... you get used to it... Isn't Thai food spicy also?

I'm gonna have to try Ras Malai then if I get a chance 🙂

And, uh, yeah...Thai food is also spicy (IMO). Another way to win with my future mother-in-low: turn red and start tearing up after the first bite. Mothers just love that, I'm told.

Haha, ok, I totally need to stop overthinking this.

Hmm...oh yeah and I have tried tandoori chicken, but the one time I tried it, I found it a little dry for my tastes. I've only tried it once, though, so I might not have gotten a representative sample.

mmmm....Indian foods. Yum.

What's up guys!!!!! I'm out on the BEST COAST now actually on my way home from the airport right now...no worries...dad is driving!!!

Have any of you guys seen the movie Austraila? That was one of the movies I watched coming out here...

My get a little of both family get together circumstances. My moms family is more about the party and my dad's is super-cereal. Don't see my dad's family much though so I tend to take after my mom's.

I've been reading this page backwards lol.

Edit: and Yoda grabs a top

I learned a new pickup last night... haha.

Hey baby, wanna be my aqueous phase so I can be the organic (and be on top)?

Didn't your Kaplan teacher ever tell you that the aqueous phase is not necessarily on the bottom (or the top)? Whether it's on the bottom or the top relates to the density of the two solutes.

They PAY us to say these things, Bacchus.

For the majority of the time, organic is on top. There is nothing wrong with versatility.

I prefer the line from Back to the Future:

"You are my density -- I mean, destiny."
