Class of 2013!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
No, it really isn't. I don't add salt to anything. If its in there, then so be it, but if it requires salt, unless in baking, I don't add it. I don't eat much processed food either.

You get used to the taste of not adding salt after a while. Now, when people salt things, I can't tolerate it. Once you lose the "condiment" salt, you'll definitely notice when its there.
How much of your food do you prepare yourself? Pretty much any food or drink that you buy has tons of sodium. Even protein bars that are marketed to bodybuilders, and fighters have a lot of sodium in them.

I understand that, you aren't going to get rid of that. What I'm wondering is, is exercise an "effective" means of sodium removal from the body. Granted, you are screwing up your homeostasis.

 That's funny, but I have been dissapointed by some of the episodes this season.

You know that means you have to post a bit more often, or else 😛
😛 I spend a lot of time lurking. I am here, just conservative with my words.

One point for Bacchus. Yes.

I think some women can pull them off. Like ones who are AA cup.

Women with curves have a certain difficulty -- if the clothes only gently cover the curves, then the rest of you looks dumpy. If the clothes cover the curves too tightly, you look slutty.

*sigh* I'll keep trying.
I usually just go for slutty with those ones. 😀

It is possible and I will have to in order to cut weight. :woot:

Thanks guys -- I think your luck paid off a ton! Mrs. Mr. Nola got me a small gift from Thailand and Mr. Nola said that I came off well. I think it was a success. I got them a nice carrot cake from The Fresh Market. I know Mr. Nola's sister enjoyed it. 😀

I want to find some way of trying to reciprocate.

Haha, yeah it worked just fine as it turned out 😉

Well, see, I see that as a sign that you're going to put dirt on my carpet. Shoes off, kthx!

Hehe, yep shoes went right off at the door.

post # 3000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:clap::soexcited::prof:

Belated congrats Yoda 🙂

OK and on that note of triumph I will retire to bed.

Good night and thanks to you all.

I think your good luck really did help...😀

Hey guys, just poking my head in... congrats on... something, pianola? 😛

Have to be up at 9 tomorrow! Then it's time to churn out a paper! Oh boy!

Them be fighting words. 😎
Why?

Good luck on your paper...

Dinner party was interesting... lots of jokes that I could barely make out... I just know... and all the little kids were off playing pokemon... I did not know they still made pokemon games...

I am not sleepy... too much sweets... I love Barfi😀

Someone sing me a lullaby...

EDIT: TOP! Hot TOPic.

Thanks guys 😀😀 Still feeling good from last night.

Good luck with errands, OMBD.

Haha, I think pokemon was slightly after my time, Funky, although I do remember hearing about it when I was slightly too old to get into it.

So I started getting a cold sore today. I hope its not full blown tomorrow for PCOM. :scared:

The new orajel overnight cold sore patches are amazing.

I usually use abreva, but nothing seems to work once they've blown up full size. Give the orajel patch a try. 👍

(I still use abreva during the day)

After OUR time 😉 Haha.

Thanks. I'm headed out... now.

Orajel, ftw.

Yeah that's right. Haha, I was just thinking that before you posted it.

Karate Tournament all day yesterday judging and competing, followed by two poker tournaments and 15 of the best homemade cookies I've ever had.

Very tired today and it's laundry day! Especially because I went to sleep at 4 and woke up at 9:30.

I slept 12 hours last night.

"Blame it on the A-A-A-A Alcohol baby"

Now its time to study for pchem on monday.

Hey Pianola. What are you up to today?

Hey Yoda. I'm doing a presentation about the relationship between serum phosphorus and cardiovascular events. (I'm not sure if there's a relationship but some evidence suggests there is).

Also I'm looking at easy-to-make, cheap recipes. I want to float the idea of making dinner with Mr. Nola for his mother and sister =). The problem is that a lot of the easy-to-make, cheap recipes I'm finding on-line tend to include a lot of ingredients I don't have (and I'm pretty sure Mr. Nola doesn't have). I don't have tomato paste, leeks, squash, or lime juice at my house, for example and I'm trying to make this meal on the lowest budget possible.

What are you up to, Yoda?

Last day of Spring Break:cry:

I do not think I am ready for classes again, after such a long break...

And I have forgotten Turkish, and I never finished my Thesis, and my dad told me my LOI needs a lot of work...

but instead of this, I am watching TV...

Aw, well, at least you get a whole new set of things to study...if you look at the bright side.

And you're one step closer to starting medical school!

Well I slept in til' almost noon so I'm going to end up spending most of the day studying, since if I get a 100% this wednesday then I can drop my final and the class is over🙂. This may be the longest I've studied ahead for something ever, ending the class 4 weeks early is a good motivator. Right now I'm reading over my little brother's resume for an internship program.

Ooh good luck on the test, Yoda.

Haha, my sister and I always have an interesting time when I read over her resume 😉 I don't think she always appreciates my comments, haha.

That is why substitution works... lime=lemon, squas=zucchini, leek=cabbage, tomato paste: ketchup w/ some pasta sauce...

True... my classes are not the most exciting... I am taking upperdiv biostats, and I have never taken stats, nor have I had math in 3 years.

Oh well, knowing that I need to keep above a 3.0 to graduate magna, makes it not too bad... I think I should start learning anatomy now...

Wait, you are supposed to constantly revise resumes and stuff? Haha, now you guys can probably guess my employment history:laugh:

Good thought -- I'll look into that.. Yay for not stressing over grades, too 🙂.

Well, my sister was really making her first or second resume. I've updated mine a few times, I guess.

I'll give my brother credit. He's pretty receptive to any advice I give him. Or at least he does a good job of acting like it anyway.

I only update mine when I'm about to apply for something. And since I've largely held the same job and contract work for the past 3 years mine's pretty out-of-date. If I get a new client or something I basically forgo the resume and just throw references at them.

Good luck on the Test Yoda!
