Oh yeah, I went to my biostats class today... I fell asleep at around 12:05, after we had done three slides. I woke up at 12:45 and we had two slides to go... and the professor looked like she was giving me dirty looks😳

Its always been known as UMC (university medical center) to me.

Maybe you should try shadowing rads and see how many patients you see every day... n/m INR or int-body radiology.

Once you start a surgery residency your ideas about liking "patient contact" will rapidly disappear haha

most of us from MS still refer to it as that.... its the only med school in the state, so UMC has always been sufficient. They've started going by UMMC more in the last few years (maybe in preparation for the new D.O. school coming into the state?).

I like hiking, I do a decent amount of it in the summers. I've hiked some chunks of the appalachian trail in NY.

I like outdoorsy stuff, but hiking by itself is too boring for me. I'm planning to go whitewater rafting in a few weeks. Kinda excited, seeing as I've never gone before.
