a 7min/mile pace is quite doable DrYoda! I'm sure you could run that with about a month of training...especially if you're focusing on just hitting up a two mile run 👍
maybe make it a goal before school starts????

oh man...the swim is crazy. it was done in a pool, which is 1) akward and 2) made it difficult to find a stride cuz you are constantly surrounded by other swimmers. It definitely wasn't a record-breaking swim for me...but just if you were wondering how you'd place if you started in my wave-- you would probably have been in the lead group, cuz I was at the front of the pack of the middle group.

crazy thing is....the fastest pace ive ever held was during a 10K run that came at the end of the my first triathlon (olympic distance--1.5k swim, 40k bike, 10k run). I somehow pulled a 6:24min/mile pace outta my tooshie?! NEVER got close to that pace again...even in shorter "sprint" triathlons...

the 50mi bike shouldnt be too bad, it's not a race, so I won't be as tempted to "win" but im sure the competitive side will get unbridled at some point during the ride 😀

I CANNOT WAIT 'til I feel that again! I've been "stuck" back at my parent's casa since I originally graduated back in '06...doing post-bac work and getting all my apps taken care of. At least I finally earned my ticket out of this place.

I should do that. Now that it's warmish out I can run in the park across the street, which is like 10x better than depressing treadmill running.

Same here... I compared my planner from this weekend and last weekend, and it was the almost the same, barring the stuff due this previous week.

Also California sucks. It has way too much Kobe for my tastes.
