It's all happening again

All of this has happened before. All of this will happen again.
I hope the second half of the final season comes out on DVD before school starts.
I just got done cleaning the transilluminator. I've got the ethanol to prove it.
Fair enough, you're escaped my grasp this time, but I will catch you rest assured.
It's all happening again
Bottom! And yes I do like guacamole!

Is Myuu losing another top?

"I got TOP.
Nope sorry I already called it in my head"
Congrats on 600! Only 3,512 left to go! 😀
Funny that both those movies involve Will Ferrell 😛
I need to catch up on some shows...namely Scrubs. I have all the DVDs but even then I have a hard time catching up 🙂 not to mention the fact that I have Seasons 1 and 4 of House but not 2 and 3. FAIL.
But my true guilty pleasure this summer is going to be "Real Housewives of New Jersey' - lovesss it. Can take white trash out of the trailer park, but not the white trash outta those women.
Congrats! Now get some food!I think we finally have made it through the muck!
Yay for a successful day.
What's the assignment?My brain goes

This is unquestionably one of the most complicated, difficult assignments I have had in grad school.
About this assignment, the teacher writes: "This will be a lot of fun.. Guaranteed. For some of you, it will be the most fun you have had in your entire life."
Guess he heard I was going to medical school![]()
I do believe I'm right up there with him. ONOY, did you get a 37 or a 39?

An analysis of a HACCP plan or a publication relating to HACCP. Where HACCP plans are plans put in place to protect food safety (sometimes required by law, sometimes not required by law).
HACCP stands for Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (not particularly descriptive as to what the plan does).
I chose an article that was perhaps a little bit too complicated for me.
Also I don't know a thing about food processing.

Whoa. 😱😕😱😕😱
HACCP is perhaps one of the most boring areas of study I have ever encountered. The teacher himself is amazing.
However, HACCP makes me want to bang my head into a wall to try to forget about all the paperwork.
So what are the terms of the "Guarantee"?My brain goes

my LizzyM is 78.6 lol. you probably are right with me. wish I had some of that 80+ elite s*** though haha
If I had avoided the stupid bio major I could have gotten closer...lol, 80+ would be too insane. That's like a 3.9 and 41 just to get to 80.. geezus! 😱
Mine is only 77.3.
I fail. (Stupid 3.83 GPA!)

That's awesome, I hope that phone call proves fruitful for you!🙂Holy crap ..... quirks where are you ?!?? And well any other wl'ed applicants ....
I called the dean yesterday and left my name and number and she actually called back now. I said I just wanted to touch base and said I had hoped she had gotten a chance to read my emails and letters, which she said she honestly had not had a chance to get to mine-she had received around 400 emails. Blah blah blah, she asked if I had been accepted anywhere else and I said yes, and that I was grateful for it, but then quickly stated I fell in love with her school and etc., Then she told me there had not been that much wl movement yet and to hold tight and she would make a note that I was still really interested. Then our 3min 32sec conversation ended and I am still sort of breathing funny...still don't understand why I get so nervous. 🙂
So considering she hasn't had time to get to my letters, maybe it is a good idea to call ....

haha a measly 77.3... 🙄
There are a good number of SDNers who fall in this range... I think. I'm talking when you add up everyone who is now an undergrad or a med student. The easiest way to do it is to get a 3.9-4.0 range then pull a 15 on one MCAT section. Then, all you have to do is average 12.5-13 on the other two sections (not impossible by any means). I think there is a lot of luck involved... I had "15" potential, as do many others, but one or two dumb mistakes will do you in. I think anything beyond about 75 LizzyM puts you in a reasonably "elite" (trying to avoid that sounding bad) group of people.
Justification for use of "75": I'm assuming a 3.8 GPA and a 37 MCAT; I think a 3.8 can be difficult depending on where you go to school, and a 37 requires a person to score 13+ on at least one section...
edit: on a side note, I think 40+ is so difficult b/c it requires a person to score 14+ on at least one section. Someone may really know their s*** but just not be able to pull off any 14+ subscores on test day, thus precluding a 40+
also, there is a guy on here with like a 3.98 and a 43R (14, 14, 15). I won't name him in case he took his mdapps down, but I remember him. Think about that lizzym:
3.98*10+43 = 82.8!!!! I think he's going to Mayo, c/o 2013
Too bad it's raining here 🙁
