Same here. I originally intended to buy a laptop and a desktop, but it turns out computers and not factored into my budget. Furthermore, if I want to get money to buy it I have to wait until classes begin, then give the fin aid office the receipt of what I've purchased, after which I get a grad plus loan.

I think I'm going to force this computer till the bitter end. Now when I buy things, I always think, "That costs at least 15% more than I think it does because of interest."

Unless you can get a random piece of land in the middle of nowhere for like 10k, I vote now. A house is a huge liability.
