actually quickly forming one... we're gonna meet up before classes start to lunch or something. we started off as facebooking, then met once already. She's great 🙂

Then there's a guy that went to my undergrad that is really cool too... and of course, the wonderful boys I interviewed with that may just possibly be sdn members... 🙂

Our class seems great. I'm looking forward to it.

Oh yes, some of my best friends I have had since I was 12 and I made really good college friends, but I am looking forward to the friends I will have through the good and the bad for the next 4 years and possibly for life. 🙂

Oh and good morning everyone. The art show was a BLAST! It was awesome! The band was great, the artwork was terrific, and it was a lot of fun. Now back to the drugery of the week before finals... 10 days!!!

Exciting news for this morning! I found out that my graduate school e-mail address has not been working since April 22nd.

Good thing I didn't miss anything important like...oh, say, that the paperwork wasn't in place for me to graduate 🙂eek:😱). One of my instructors had forgotten to enter a grade for me so I nearly didn't get a diploma and I never knew about it.

I also got some info from one medical school, but oh well, nothing that would have changed my final decision not to attend.
 
Morning Folks! How is everyone doing? We have a couple of recently unemployed people... I was hoping that they would enjoy it and sleep in super late; but it appears that some have not 😛 Oh well, enjoy it nonetheless.

I don't think my school has a pre-met program; but I did call one of my interviewers and asked if he could recommend any reading I could do to get back in the groove... he has yet to call me back 🙁.

2 days until I'm driving to Cali...

Believe me when me say I am enjoying nut havin to guh in tuh work. I am up early now...buuuuut that is b/c right now I am sherin me car with me mum and she has tuh be at wurrrrrrrk fer sevin aaaaaaam....:laugh: that's how my cousin from Glasgow talks

I think I am going to crash for a bit before I finish making comments on one person's first draft of his PS. Then off to beat myself up in the gym...I ate like serious crap yesterday

That a good thing. I'm not going to have anytime to enjoy Cali, so I would rather not have the temptation of a solid swell laughing in my face. We're leaving early on Wednesday morning; I'm hoping we're going to get to at least Denver, but hopefully Grand Junction by Wednesday night. Sleep; get up and finish the drive getting us to LA on Thursday evening. Sleep, get my brother situated on Friday and then take the redeye back to Minneapolis. My flight arrives at 5:50am on Saturday. Drive back to Rochester, sleep and get up and ready to work an overnight in the Emergency Department. I was looking at my calendar the other day and I have something on just about every day of June. Busy guy over here.

ummmmm yeah...Swarley, I am going to have to ask you to calm down on that work tip (Lyss...please translate just in case...:laugh: :laugh:...just kidding...I only need your services when I talk like that to funky :laugh:)

No really dude don't you think you should give yourself time to rest. Redeye flights are no fun...you barely get any real sleep (especially if you are on Northwest/Delta...aka...worst airline(s) in the world 👎).

June is going to suck, but I'm finished working on the 23rd; so anything after that is simply enjoyment. I'm hoping to use the redeye as my caveat into working overnights (I usually cannot sleep on planes). The only part of it that truly sucks is that I work overnight from Tuesday into Wednesday; then fly out to Portland on Wednesday afternoon to visit some friends. So, partying on Wednesday night on little to no sleep is going to make for an interesting night.
