Class of 2013!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I should get that before I stop working; I wonder how long I keep my work insurance...

Obviously I cannot speak for your job, but at Penn we are covered for an extra month if we work past the middle of the current month.

So, I am covered through June even though my last day was friday...I love Penn...now I wonder why I did not apply there for med school

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh wait...that's right...I HATE Killadelphia

ya I remember! 😎

I sat back and watched you and shemarty lead the pack. I actually had to stay off SDN b/c shemarty's secondary turnover rate was pissing me off...no lie....and I did not need all the extra drama

Haha... good times... good memories. Aww, we've been together a year! 😍

I have to call the billing company tomorrow. My health insurance denied all of the claims submitted by my physician. They didn't even cover the physical after co-pay. The only thing I feel I should have to pay for is the OMT I got done and possibly the titers, but those were mandated by the school. Sigh.

I am getting my physical at the pulmonologist - he'll code asthma, and it'll be covered by insurance.

And no titers for me bc I actually got the shots. but I did have to pay out of pocket for them.

all this medical talk is reminding me that I have to make sure my medical file is transferred to my new school for next year

o man I think I'm legally blind! Without glasses, i can't see past ~4 inches from my face 🙁
This is me.....I used to make the mistake of taking my contacts out and not having my glasses around. My poor roommate would find me sort of lost in the bathroom or my room  I'll need to be extra careful living alone ....
its really weird. I keep thinking I forgot to take my contacts out. which, I did... but I wasn't supposed to.

I'm not a rule breaker, and I've only worn my contacts overnight once... and I took them out at like 6 am. never wore em straight for two days. So I feel like I'm breaking all the rules now.
I learned my lesson from my sister and will preach it to y'all.....she NEVER took our her contacts and one Thanksgiving her eye started to hurt so bad she had to go to the ER. Turns out she had a corneal ulcer and almost needed a cornea transplant 😱 I have bad allergy eyes anyways so I can't sleep in them but contacts now sort of scare me ,....
I'm going to get ice cream and check something out. I hope my streak is broken when I get back.

I'm on night duty so I'm here 🙂

I take my contacts out before I find my glasses all the time. it's kinda sad. I'm like a recently blinded person who hasn't gotten their bearings in an area yet.

its reminds me of mr. rogers. Did any of you watch mr rogers? Remember when the mailman used to take you on adventures to learn how stuff was made?

for some reason, "how's it made - food (ie: unwrapped)" is way cooler than "hows it made - stuff"

Me three; so warm in my room

Yeah, this whole Cornell business totally wrecked any peace of mind I had. I was up at 7:30.

I'm trying not to post about this WL decision too much, but I keep feeling like under the surface, if I choose Miami I might be about to make a really huge mistake. Or if I choose Cornell maybe THAT would be the mistake?

The big thing is, I'm too tired to fight with my parents any more over this decision...🙁
