Had I meant to imply sarcasm I would have used an emoticon (the rolleyes one) or said something completely outrageous

I know it sounds crazy, but I think WashU has a relatively low Step I average for two reasons: (1) the curriculum isn't geared toward the test (2) there isn't much time allotted for preparation.

I just don't want to restrict my specialty choices by being unprepared for one test. It's like the MCAT all over again... but this one can REALLY affect the rest of our lives and you only get one shot to blow it away :scared:

No pressure though, right? haha

Um... I don't know 😳 I do know we made some adjustments to it (it used to be obnoxiously big), but I don't know if we made the logo ourselves or if we worked off some template.

hahaha dude...calm down. You are obviously good at standardized tests so your best preparation for your Boards (freakin 2 years from now) is to just keep up with your class work.

at least yours is only 3 hours. We have one day a week from set aside for clinical skills & its 8-12pm. Then we have to go to our preceptor from 1-5pm

:wow: We have 1.5 hours a week, and this is something new they added a few years ago... One whole day!


So I fell asleep while reading Moore's Anatomy in the library. Granted, I had just had 10 hours of class + studying + anatomy lab.... I have thus decided to take a break...

Dude I TOTALLY AGREE! Thankfully ours is only 1.5 hours, but we read like 50 pages on handicapped sex and share our feelings about it...seriously?
 
Gah, this biochemistry stuff is going to make my head explode. Who knew the cell cycle could be so complicated?

yayyyyyyyyy for Cell Bio and Biochem...first block till Turkey day...then mini-block (of genetics and Princip of Pharm) starts the monday afterwards...

Dammit I have Biochem Lab and Reading Group (reading lovely journal articles) and some Social and Behavioral Science class as well

😀😡😀😡 = to represent that I am not sure if I am mad or happy about that yet

Today was so long 🙁. I got out of lab and fell asleep on my couch for a few hours, made a feeble attempt at studying, ate, and now its time for bed. Long days of classes stink.

It has been good. Just getting ready for our our exam on monday. Didnt go to class today, well, I dont really go to class ever. So I got up and made breakfast and got to work studying. Just another day on the game field!

Yesterday I went to my first interest group meeting and it was our Orthopaedic Surgery Interest Society. It was actually pretty good. I think I might have an actual interest in Ortho for Sports Medicine. We shall see. The one thing I do know is that Sports Medicine is where I want to be. Now I have 4 yrs to figure out which path to take to get there.
