Yea, I also think that it was a bad move but you have to look at the other side of things. If Peyton came in just for the record then got injured or a key piece was injured then it would have been the dumbest coaching move of the decade.
yeah there is always the possibility of injury...but come on, peyton hasnt missed a game in his career (i think), and hes proven to be really durable. they probably win the game if he stays in, they probably go undefeated if they win this game, and they set up their team to be in the running for one of the greatest sports franchises in the history of sports if they finish things off, and they cement peyton's legacy as probably best qb ever. now, with one stupid coaching decision, they are just another team. sometimes i cant stand herm edwards, but hes right...you play to win the game.
