That's kind of neat, I guess.

The SEC is good. Wish we'd gotten a chance to really test how good tonight, but based on everything else they did this season I can't say Bama doesn't deserve it.

Yeah, they deserve it.

You just want to question a lot of things that happened, you know? McCoy out and Bama playing relatively crappy.

Oh absolutely. By my count, Gilbert directly gave Bama 14 points (the shuttle pass and the fumble at the end) and lost us 14 (the ball that went over Shipley's hands in the end zone and then there was another play where we had a guy just wide open and nobody in front of him but he missed). Even with Gilbert, the shuttle pass was ridiculous. And there's even the field goal we got on the first drive that should have been a TD if not for the illegal formation. Then there was the refs' ass-hat-ness with all those non-interference calls, and the awful field position we had because of the ones they called on us.

There are a lot of things I question. But we lost. And Alabama DID do a lot of good things in the rest of the year that make them look like a champion. Mark Ingram WAS incredible tonight and lived up to his trophy. So whatever; maybe we got robbed, maybe it would have happened either way. More than anything I'm disappointed we'll never know for sure, but I can't take anything away from Bama.

I know. I had closed my gap behind you in this thread to less than 250 I think, now it's back to about 350.

That game was the closest 16 point win for an NC just like LSU's NC in 2007 was the least competitive 14 point win for an NC.

Did you make a bet involving Romo and the Boys?

So I found out Bama has 8 national championships, but Gump math adds to 13 somehow. It's like USC counting 2003, but worse.

If LSU added like that, we'd have 8 or something.

Yep. Me and brooklyn agreed that whoever loses the game this Saturday has to fly the colors of the other team in their avatar until that team finally loses. Should that team then win the Super Bowl, brooklyn will keep that pic up all the way until the Cowboys lose a game the following preseason/season, while I'll keep it until the NBA All-Star game, at which point I can go back to a Spurs-themed avatar but it has to have Eva Longoria in it (I said I needed a Spurs avatar for the stretch run, and the nonbiased part of me DID pick the Eagles to win the NFC a couple of days ago).

Yeah, I know what you're talking about there.

Forest Gump played for Alabama in football in the movie. So some LSUers and other SEC teams insult the Bammers by calling them Gumps since he was kind of a ruh-****.

stupid kings got like 52 shots on goal and couldn't win. redwings won with 17 seconds left gahhhhhh.
