Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
yea cleveland as a city was kinda dead but good thing i bring life

i'm sure i'd grow attached to cleveland if i ever go there. you gotta support small business and root for the teams of the city that you are in (or thats how i think) to really enjoy your hood

true true

There's just something about the "We Are All Witnesses" billboard that lifts your spirits though... so not totally dead! The weather overall is too gloomy, which is the main contributor to the dead factor.

haha i think washu had the most weirdos out of my interview days 😀

vandy probably had the coolest, but there were only 4 of us

so true. one of my fellow interviewees kept asking first years what their MCAT scores were

didnt go near the arena (even though i drove)

i stayed at playhouse square. which seemed to me like a manhattan-esque theatre district with similar business and residential buildings. but all the delis and businesses closed at like 4 PM and some new buildings were vacant. i was just pretty surprised how empty it was. city is pretty neat though

whoa there, kids! i'm so flattered

red, it's all good. bleargh's annoying sometimes but we get along 😛 i'm pretty sure there's only one SDN poster who goes out of their way to offend me. 🙄

oh, and i should add: you both know i've only got eyes for Blue 😛
that cuts deep yo. and i'm pretty sure all sesame street characters are gentiles.

i thought this was the one! shucks
then in that case i owe bleargh an apology.

Sorry for unjustly causing a commotion.😳

frends?

Nah, I'm attached to my teams for life, no matter where I go I think.
Probably UVA - I was intimidated by some of their undergrads but they were really cool and seemingly down to earth. VCU second, I guess. LSU doesn't count because I knew almost all of them already, for good or bad.

Baylor had the most wierdos, and Vandy had some douches. OSU was in the middle.

 What do you mean by weirdos? Texans? 😛

i like any product commercial with eva longoria in it. i immediately run out to the store and purchase WHATVER it is she is selling.

ah, i always knew you weren't a natural blonde 😉

my favorite school that sent a lot of interviewees out = BYU, like I said before, it doesn't get better than these kids. they are very social as well. I even remember one BYU girl dressed like lady gaga to an interview

Was that where your host couldn't speak English and abandoned you at the library?

I'm sorry.

that would be AECOM

And had like no furniture IIRC

now dont go flinging accusations willy nilly...he did have a deflated air mattress that was held together with at least 2 rolls of duct tape that he offered me when i finally made it back around midnight...

ah, i always knew you weren't a natural blonde 😉

oh you! you know me too well!😉

The undergrads that I didn't get a positive representation of at interviews were Vandy and Tulane. The Tulane person I met was a total douche and completely proved my theory about a good portion of Tulane students (except for Luun, you're totally different).

I had mixed experiences with Columbia and William and Mary students.

i keep hearing the worst **** about Cornell kids. i cant tell you guys the number of times interviewees have kept their distance from me for the first half of the day because they had bad experiences with other interviewees...

Harvard kids are douches too though 🙂 had to throw that in. sorry caniac 😛

No I mean Texans and weirdos. The weirdos just happened to be from Texas. They had some seriously awkward people there. A lot of the strange ones were from OOS, though.

 idunno. I guess some of the Texan kids are weird that day just cuz Baylor is like the holy grail of Texas schools or whatever so they're kind of intimidated.

I definitely don't feel like our class is that weird, though. I'm weird, but the rest of my class is better 😛

aw I have a friend from Cornell that is exactly like Andy Bernard/Ed Helms. And a friend from Harvard who had classes with Ryan and Kelly from the office

ahem. :eyebrow:

hey...? :eyebrow:
though i've never felt like i actually went to columbia, so i guess you can bash away 🙂

i have a friend from rutgers who's exactly like andy bernard. exACTly.

I didn't get a good vibe from the UCLA or Cal kids, sorry

hey, there are thousands and thousands of us. most suck, admittedly. but not all!

in this case, yeah, every one I have ever met...

now dont go flinging accusations willy nilly...he did have a deflated air mattress that was held together with at least 2 rolls of duct tape that he offered me when i finally made it back around midnight...

Oh my bad, how silly of me...

Seriously, a DEFLATED air mattress?

jla...sorry. i have awful experience with the harvard interviewees i meet. all they do is gloat about themselves and belittle other schools that arent in the ivy in the interview group.

as for the andy bernard types...im proud to say im not friends with a single one of them! in fact...i tossed one out of my house last semester and wined and dined Mrs. Bernard, then NEVER CALLED HER AGAIN.

yea...if i moved around too much it would deflate and id have to reinflate it. he got so pissed by the end of the night. he was just grumbling on his side of the closet...

Well I met one really cool Columbia guy and one Columbia guy from Cali and he was OK but I could smell the smoldering douche beneath his skin.

i actually met a really cool chick from columbia who graduated in 2009 whos from texas. and one of my good friends from high schooled rowed for columbia. he can be kind of a dbag sometimes tho...😛

smouldering usually brings about memories of...smores. douche brings about hints of...rotting organix material. my guess is a smoldering douche smells like a rotting smore.

Geez...

Some people just need to not represent their schools. There's at least one girl who usually comes to steal the free food at our interview session who whenever she bothers to talk to the interviewees will just talk endlessly about how awesome she is :lame:

i recommend a firm backhand to the head. that should shut her up. as bleargh earlier demonstrated, apparently thats the appropriate method of dealing with people who talk too much 😛

What does that smell like, incidentally?

I'm sure you know it. It's more a of subliminal thing.

It's when someone is trying really hard not to be a complete tool and it's working pretty well, but the body language and ends of sentences show that they are uncomfortable being normal and would prefer to be a conceited douchebag.

Haha yes that'd be great... unfortunately, I have more reservations about her lack of a Y chromosome than our good friend bleargh 😉

dont let the Y chromosome hold any spell over you...there are tons out there with it that would also do well to be disciplined with the back of my hand

 Of course, I know exactly what you're talking about. I was just king of wondering, you know, what it might actually smell like.

Rotting smores sounds about right 😛

Unfortunately, that was best description even though I didn't actually answer your question.

And redrower posted his theory (which I like very much) while I was writing that.

Yeah mine were definitely against the line as well.

Jackson would've been the only one to make money; everyone else would have lost.

🙂

i think probably the best vibes i got from students and other interviewees were at temple, vcu, and gtown. the worst were psu and vermont-the psu students they had eat lunch with us were just very akward and the vermont students we met were like the granola outdoor wilderness adventure types.

Yup, stop fighting over my d dub, only I can do that.😉

I love your new sig by the way.

hahaha i love this conversatun about what a douche smells like
