Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
dude, don't post that here. What's wrong with you? Post in the main forum or something.

You want to be a Medical Doctor , right, so start dealing with what is real, this is the right place for it, you are the guys starting out, i am almost done, it was a heads up, but i see you are going to be another mediocre Doc. hehehe, don’t waste your time, or the patients time, blurting around that your class 2014 but dismissing what matters most to patients, that is quality health care being threatened and your responsibility to stand up for it, o , i forgot, that is not for you, i should post in another place, oops , confused you for a doctor. If you knew anything at all , you can tell that all i did was give a heads up, and i was out. Learn to handle more than one thing at a time, meaning admittance and medical legal issues, trust me , you will need it as a Dr, that is if you actually become one. Good luck 2014, hehehehe... As for me , I am out, later.

Good morning people!

I have to get my car serviced today. Hopefully, that won't be too expensive! One day, I'm going to invest in one of those cars that doesn't need to be serviced until every 7,000 or 8,000 miles.

You can do that stuff yourself, you know. :prof:

haha nah. after i stopped gymnastics when i graduated, i was lazy too and didn't really do anything for a few months. i've been going to the gym a couple times a week the past few months and only just started going more often to train for the half marathon. my friend's getting married and wants to get in shape so i figured running the half with her would be a good way to get healthier before med school starts🙂

I don't get what those things have to do with each other?

haha so she can look good in her wedding dress. i think it's pretty normal for brides-to-be to lose weight before their wedding? or maybe that's just been my experience with weddings.

some nurses are hot

I am glad you think so , because you are about to be substituted by one, or as the article I posted above says and I Quote: “Whatever specialty you want as a physician, there’s an NP that can do the same thing. “But surely not for surgery?!” is the cry of retort. Well I promise you that within the next 10 years, some politician is going to realize that “Hey! PA’s and Surgical Tech’s can pop out gallbladders just as well as a surgeon can!” Hhahahahahahaha, you really don’t get it, dude, get a move on , as it stands there making us in to upscaled nurses. Ta Ta, LOL

Yeah...I just don't get it. Don't they want to look good all the time? Like, I'm not saying they don't, and I guess any excuse to start exercising is a positive thing, but the logic seems a little backward to me. 🙂

It's not that we don't care...

It's just that we don't care. At least in this thread.

thanks, i'll get a move on

Now that is what I want to here, good luck!!!, I am out have a graveyard shift, you know the one the nurses don’t do for 3 years of IM, and another 3 for cardio fello, yet get to practice just like me cardiology. Must be nice for them to have blurred the line between what medical school is and what nursing school is, o well , onse again , good luck to all on your med school choice, hope you guys protect the future of Medicine.

Stephon Marbury will become the highest profile American to play in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) after he agreed to join China's Shanxi Club.
"The aim of signing Marbury is to pay back our fans and try to win more games in the rest of the season," said Shanxi boss Wang Xingjiang.
Marbury wanted to promote his personal brand of shoes in China and will not receive an exorbitant salary.
Shanxi last season hired former NBA player Bonzi Wells, who scored as many as 50 points a game.

YAY! Finally, someone else who has read it!! I've been waiting to discuss this book since it came out but knew no one else who had read it yet. I agree, disappointing would be the way to describe it, especially compared to other Dan Brown books.

(from the LA Times):

"Brown's narrative moves rapidly, except for those clunky moments when people sound like encyclopedias."

too true, too true 😀 i will white this out for those who have not read it yet:

is it bad that i was kind of relieved at the prospect of this being the last robert langdon book? lol damn dan brown, he pulled the ol' water boarding/drowning fake out on us.
