Lame, I forgot the NBA had afternoon games today because of the holiday and forgot to activate some of my players in fantasy.

Also, ksmi and I wound up going 4-4-1 last week. So I guess that was pretty anticlimactic :lame:

At one point me and EC were like 3-2 because we had so many ties.

saints are favored by 4 i think. At least thats what i heard somewhere on espn today (mike and mike i think?). I say vikes 35-28.
 
whats the better draw, favre vs peyton (pretty obvious, this one)
or favre vs his last team, revis & the ridiculous secondary of the jets
 
Random thought: there is a labor stoppage in 2011 that delays the start of the NFL season as lots of people seem to think is likely, and someone goes undefeated... do we finally get to stop hearing about that stupid Dolphins team drinking champagne?

I like how the Saints are getting absolutely no hype after yesterday's games.

I also hope the media didn't hurt their necks by quickly removing their heads from Tony Romo's @$$ and sticking them up Brett Favre's.

I think it's just that they're still making the immediate reaction to yesterday's game. The Vikings also just beat the team that a lot of pundits thought might go to the Super Bowl (regardless of how dumb that thought was 🙄). The Saints will get plenty of hype by next weekend.

The media have always had their heads up Favre's rear anyways.
 
Okay fellas, here is how it's gonna shake out. Saints will beat the Vikings in a close game, and Colts should win big over the Jets. In the Super Bowl, Saints will take it over the Colts in a close game.

I'm cool with him if he wants to keep playing. I just don't want to see the retirement and then summer change of heart thing anymore.

Too hard to call. After the eagles lost, my latest prediction was Colts over Vikings. But I don't know anymore.

Yeah that was my main issue with him. You want to play, then play. You want to retire, then retire.

His summer yo-yoing puts too much unnecessary stress on the franchises he plays for and that's what made the Packers say no to his comeback.
 
i used to hate brett, but i'm on the bandwagon after he crushed the cowboys.

throwing to the endzone on a 4th and 3 from like the 20 yd line in the 4th quarter when you are up by 4 scores is just great
 
this has been the most depressing, lame-ass long weekend ever. i did nothing exciting or fun. at all.

plus ANOTHER one of my friends is engaged, and all i can think is "oh crap, gotta go to another stupid flucking wedding"

it's a good thing i'm becoming a doctor. i'll need something to occupy the many, many hours until i die alone in my apartment and no one finds me until days later when the smell starts seeping out into the hallway.

time to cook dinner! 👍

Don't worry it's normal to hate weddings, I despise them.
 
i have 0 friends that are even close to marriage. i think most of my friends are single, if not almost all. i cant wait til one of them gets married cuz open bar = one of us dying = funeral = another open bar? its the circle of life

Totally enjoying reading the PSs too! and pretty happy that I am not one of the people at the top of the reader list...getting a nice consistent trickle lol instead of a daily flash flood. Someone called my editing skills Harvard worthy (blatant lies) but it felt soo good 😛 lol


oh and dw...I don't know if this will make you feel better but the only thing worse than having to go to all your friends' weddings....is having to cancel your own...speaking from personal experience.

Don't worry dw. I hate weddings too. And I'm also pretty sure I'll be alone forever.

Currently waiting for my plane that has been delayed 3 hours. So now I'm getting back to Boston around 130am. Good stuff.

All in all, a good birthday weekend. My Boston celebration on Saturday will be epic though.
