I know what you mean, there's a turkey confinement building across from my house and our dogs would find every single body they threw out into the field whenever a turkey died. And bring them back to the house for later enjoyment. Gotta love waking up to dead turkey parts scattered across the lawn... 👍

i just noticed this and had to confess i suffer from the same chalk-phobia. if i have to use it, i wrap a piece of tape around the middle so i am not actually touching chalkiness. i also don't like touching cotton balls or newspapers. when the guys in my college dorm found out about all these they had a field day torturing me with all these items 🙄 the worst is cotton in the mouth . . . when i go to the dentist for stuff i have to actually ask them not to put any in my mouth. it's incredibly embarrassing, but i literally cannot deal with it so i have to ask. other mouth related stuff grosses me out too like when people rub napkins on their teeth ::shudder::

that is sick! the mouse thing is just . . . well my dog, i think she thinks she's a cat, this is the second time she has done this. she catches it and then just holds it in her mouth with the tail hanging out. i had to pry her mouth open. it was sick. and like an idiot i went out drinking last night, so i've been hung over and puking all day anyway, this was just the icing on the nausea cake.

i also wouldnt care so much if she was bigger but she only weighs like 11 or 12 pounds and she picks fight with lots of animals. she killed a possum once that was about the same size as her. that possum could have just as easily clawed her face off. as far as the mice go, i am scared she is going to ingest poison. but i guess the vet says since she doesn't break their skin- she just sucks on them like a dead mousesicle- that she will be ok.

oh and did i mention she is a suburb/city dog . . . she is not an outside dog at all. all the animals she has killed have been while she was on a leash! i swear, when its dark and i look away for two seconds, thats all it really takes

My dog used to kill possums too. We'd find them just randomly dead in the middle of the yard.

what breed of dog was it? was it a girl dog?

i am trying to figure out what is driving her to be such a little killer- my last dog wasn't. i think its partly a female thing, and also maybe a dachshund thing.

I didn't think anyone was up this late during the witching hour. I will try to get some sleep and hopefully tonight doesn't mess up my sleep schedule for the week. Party was fun, though.

Same here. I actually checked SDN around 3:15ish and realized I couldn't see the screen and read the posts properly. I proceeded to wake up at 2. :lame: I called it couple of weeks ago: won't be able to go to bed before 4.

Now I have to figure out what I need to do for this week. You would think I wouldn't have that much for 2nd week of classes, right? WRONG.

I haven't even bothered watching the Jets playoff games so far because I was sure they'd lose, but I'm stunned at how good their defense really is. Sanchez is a joke, but the defense is so good.

Before football I was watching a Top 10 countdown of the Wonders of the American West. It was cool and made me want to go there. It had Death Valley, Carlsbad Caverns, the Grand Canyon, Columbia River Gorge, Yellowstone, Yosemite, Arches, and other stuff.
 
How's the game, I'm away from the TV unfortunately.

I can't wait for the saints and vikings game though, that will be good.

Dude that guy is so badass. He's freaking awesome. And there's no denying he's one of the best pass rushers in the NFL right now. Probably the best.
