so i just did my tax return so i can fill out my fafsa.....wtf government between federal, state, and ss you take out 9 grand, like 20% of my salary, and i get less than $800 back....so lame 😡

it's funny you brought it up, when i changed it to the holy facepalm avatar from picard, this was runner up. but you pushed it over the edge.
 
bummed.... i thought it was going to be massive, so i contracted out a plow for tomorrow, and it turns out to be nothing. so i'm still shelling out cash for something i could have done myself. and so much for urban shred session i was going to squeeze in between classes.. =(

yeah it's barely even sticking. no good. having afternoon classes canceled was good though.
 
we got a fun email saying everyone's classes were cancelled except for us
 
I believe this is an appropriate time to announce that my gorge dress arrived this morning. And it is gorge.

Oh also...met another Emory med tourguide who was doing rotations with the doc I shadow today. He seems nice.

It is amazing and I am so happy i went with the "honey" color. Totally in love and my size gamble paid off...fits perfectly, nothing needs to be taken in.

i have a couple of festive events that i need dressy clothes for though so this is going to be a great option for those.

I'm pretty sure my cold turned into a sinus infection. I started feeling better Monday after a terrible weekend, then it got a lot worse Tuesday.

Hopefully it goes away soon, it's getting really old.

it's a good time, not quite the gloom and doom everyone seems to make these out to be... there are definitely more beantowners

That happened to me twice within a 3 month period-viral infection followed by bacterial sinus infection 👎
 
my bff from elementary school (she went to a private school in middle and high school and i haven't spoken to her since) just had a speaking role on mercy, so random! she was the girl in the pink dress at the bar if any of you were watching haha.
 
My tennis coach from the high school days passed away this morning.... only 44 years old. Shell shocked.

I'll be flying from DC in the 3rd week of March. I'm visiting the bff who actually goes to school ~30 mins outside of Boston, but I think we'll go into the city for a day or two.

oh i just remembered...so i was shadowin today and my doc is about to show me some MRI images. Before doing so, he says...this woman had brain surgery a few years back and now when she blows her nose, she gets a headache. Up go the images and down goes my mouth:wow:....half of her skull was filled with air and her entire brain was squished into the other. Insane!

Yeah... I'll probably find a way to stay up till atleast 1. 😎

But I don't work till 11 tomorrow so I'm not setting my alarm. Atleast that's a win?

And oh my goodness.... that's unreal.... did he explain the phenomena to you?? Crazy...
