Maybe someone that goes to Tulane - where Tulane is located, they would have issues operating school during Mardi Gras. I think they alternate every year between 2 days and 1 week off or something like that.

That's f-ing stupid!

Northern Louisiana doesn't/shouldn't even count as Louisiana - it's like Arkansas.

They don't even do anything of worth up there for Mardi Gras anyway, so why should they get a week? Even Baton Rouge and Mobile AL do more for Mardi Gras than Northern LA.
 
can someone explain to me the "out of state for texas schools" thread? the people who post in there are people I've never seen post anywhere else and they all have M&M avatars....😕

Ha. It's a bunch of people who got into med school several years ago. They still come back every now and then to socialize 🙂

I suppose that theoretically if someone new came along and wanted to post in there, they could. But it's definitely mostly a social thread now, I think.

i really wish i'd done it too but had the same problem🙁 there wasn't one semester where i could just go off and not miss anything vital to me graduating. i definitely want to something abroad between first and second year and/or a rotation or two during fourth year, but i'm sure it's not the same as doing it during undergrad would have been.

i haven't seen it either. it's one of those movies i've always wanted to see but just haven't. hmm i wonder if it's on netflix on demand, maybe i'll watch it later...


oh molly ringwall's in the secret life of the american teenager! i watched that show for a little while then it just got way too dramatic and ridiculous

it was a little unsuccessful but the process was fun! one was a clue based on limeny snicket's book of unfortunate events, but the cache was missing. and then another one, i think some construction took out part of the clue trail. then gps battery died...bummer.

so now i'm watching wild recon - any one watch it?
 
i wonder if the 2014 thread will ever be surpassed and if one day, one of us will try to do what spurs is doing
