lol... yeah obviously figured something along those lines but I wanted the proper expansion. We just say "would you?" in my group of friends... the HI is implied of course.

Just realized I woke up really early today.

My whole long day just hit me like a sack of bricks.

At least I have an HDTV in my room now and don't have to walk through a smoke cloud if I want to watch HD sports.

Can the NBA pass the MLB (or the NFL)?

Nothing can pass the nfl, at least not in the near future. Its just too popular. I think NBA could pass mlb as if im not mistaken mlb ratings have been steadily declining over the past several years. That and mlb is just soo boring ugh😛. I think one of the problems with the nba is the regular season is a bit too long/many just think its irrelevant and tune in for post season. And that in some ways the NBA is just too predictable. I think part of the reason the nfl is so popular is every year your team has a chance. I mean look at the saints who would have thought that even 5 years ago. Every year in the nba you can basically say barring injuries who will win or be in the hunt and its always 4 teams or so max. Sometimes less like this year where its just soo obvious cavs vs lakers. I rarely tune in the nba season until playoff time for that reason. Its basically done already and im just waiting to watch the cavs lakers finals. In 5 years who knows some team at the bottom like tampa bay could easily be on top winning it all. But in nba theres no way in hell someone like the clips or bucks are going anywhere anytime soon. They will forever just be nothing.

It can't pass the NFL. I'm actually surprised that the MLB is still above the NBA; so I certainly think the NBA could pass the MLB.

This is true, unfortunately. The power of the star is just so much stronger in the NBA, that if you don't have a top 5, MAYBE top 10 player, you just don't have any chance to win the title. But I don't know that the MLB is any better; stars are important there, but a few huge markets (Yankees, Mets, Red Sox, Angels, Dodgers, Cubs, maybe a handful of others) can always buy so many stars that it doesn't matter if they miss on a few, they'll always at least be in contention.

EDIT: come to think of it, at least while she's a mermaid, Ariel DOESN'T have anything except a bra :laugh:
