I just need something to suck up the alcohol. Don't wanna be hung-over @ church tomorrow.

I can't drive to the nearest coney island to get something that'll really do the trick just cause I'd probably get a DUI. All I have in my fridge is fruits and veggies.

Currently eating half of a grapefruit with a small pinch of flour sprinkled on it because I thought it was sugar and I always sprinkle sugar to lower the acidity, but it was flour and not sugar but it still tastes good.

I have a figi pear apple sobe drink thing to sip on tonight.

I also tried Yoplait's greek yogurt. It was worse than Dannon's. Though I tried the blueberry where as before I had the strawberry. So bitter. Still looking for the chobihaha brand or whatever. Perhaps Whole Foods has it. We dont have Trader Joes around here (that I know of anyway).

I loooove grapefruit, but it has to be the good grapefruit that isn't really sour.
 
P.S. coldstone has this awesome deal where you get half a gallon of icecream for 10$! And like you can use 3 different types of ice cream and you get 6 toppings. It's pretty sweet. Just wanted to put it out there.

I like how it's filling and it's enough for a breakfast for me. I wish they had more than three flavors at where I shop.

Like I know I've had a lot to drink tonight, but I'm really curious about this and want to ask a nurse, but am too worried to ask one at the hospital I volunteer at. Is there any difference between like getting with a nurse and just getting with any other girl? And like, do doctors really get with nurses all the time or is that just the rumor mill? I know every hospital is different and some hospitals are filled with old people or married people (that doesn't seem to stop the people at the hospital I volunteer at), but like I was wondering about the general consensus. Especially because like I have friends that say stuff like, oh dude when your a doctor your gonna get with soooo many nurses etc.

I just texted a nursing student the same question, and she said there's no difference, but there's sexual tension built up from working w/ the docs and thats why they get with them... makes sense.
 
I've gotta find ways to make sexual tension with the girls I study with.

Hope sooo. thanks for the support. It would be odd if I got 7+ interviews and no acceptance but I guess it could happen. It's just annoying to still have to deal with the "will i get in" BS when everyone else is dealing with the "what school should i pick" BS at this point. ah well.

Here at the VA, we have a rule that you can't be supervised by your SO....but because medicine and nursing are run by separate departments, this isn't an issue (only a doc dating a doc or a nurse dating a nurse, etc, would be a no-no, and only if it ended with one supervising the other. generally change in shifts or depts can fix this).

Generally I would say not to mix business with pleasure, but regarding the amount of time nurses and doctors spend working (I worked 108hrs in the last two weeks FTR), I'm at all not surprised that relationships exist. Just gotta keep it professional if it goes sour....and definitely don't get caught in the janitors closet! :laugh:😉

This just solidified my choice of wanting to become a Physician. I now have to be able to find a way to work this into my PS.
 
Quick question for the mods -

Why in the status section is nurse (RN) or nurse practitioner (NP)not an option? Physicians Assistant (PA) is not listed either. There is an option for Other Health Professions Student (and just about everything else), but not simply Other Health Professional.

I believe we have a limited amount of those little labels, so the most popular ones got added to the list. It sucks, but we can't really fix it.
 
Did anyone in here know that Guinness draught is only something like 130 calories a bottle? Some berry flavored, pretty popular leugnkuegel (Have no idea how to spell it...) is ~300 calories. Regular Coors is like 200 calories.

I was just surprised because I thought Guinness would be awful for you... This new fact cements my love for Guinness. I think it is now my drink of choice when rollin out and about.

My spring break is right now. Not very spring-y but very break-y lol
I am trying to remain calm until I get the Duke rejection email and likely Emory rejection letter. And my mom is pressuring me to finish a scholarship app that is due in April....ughhh
