You got 1/2 tuition, right? As soon as I know that I'm not going there for sure I'll withdraw, and dead serious, I'll tell them to give it to you. :laugh:

haha. our dog was trained to eat once a day and he finishes all his food at once so I am out of my territory of expertise.

i think baltimore is pretty much in the south. people that i've ran across from there are actually really cool

hmm, i dont even know. i kinda spaced out after december. duke would be cool because of the 3rd year but im not attached to any schools.

Nah, not Cajun. But I have a few really good friends that are. They speak Cajun French and everything. It's weird but really cool too. Cajun French is an approved foreign language at LSU. I should have taken it instead of Spanish!!

My step father was cajun...as you can prob tell from my last name. Tulane is the only place they actually pronounced it correctly. They had trouble with my first name though lol

Maybe they'll forget they gave you some already and add it to yours. They'd probably think "this Kathy girl is insane if she thinks she can tell us who to give our money to. I'm glad she withdrew."

Really??? People don't know how to say your last name??? That boggles my mind. But I guess I'm used to the Cajun names. I'm not surprised they couldn't pronounce your first name though. Not very common around these parts.

Haha yea...it doesn't help that I am used to saying it (since it is my name and all) and usually say it too fast for people to distinguish the syllables. End up repeating it several times 😛
Haha for the last name...I have a cheesy way to teach people what it sounds like. Cheesy to the max-makes people say I should be in peds with a name like that !
 
why do you have northerner accent in you? are you a transplant?
 
i'm definitely going to genetically engineer each of my illegitimate offsprings to have different exotic accents
 
I really hope the big school decisions help everyone else out. I've actually been pretty excited for the non-rollers to get out their acceptances since that's what causes the major moving and shaking of waitlists/acceptance stuff for other schools.

I hope all the OOS accepted people at Baylor will drop it for something else... :xf:

Everyone always gets confused by my ridiculously subtle accent..a lot of people (who are not from NJ) think that I am from NJ lol

last summer i worked in a lab full of russians. they called themselves the russian mafia and made me feel very left out by speaking in russian

Haha he cuddles some but NEVER kisses. I like that cause I'd hate to have him lick my face any time I am down where he can reach it lol.

Haha actually my accent is so subtle...most people don't even guess that I am first generation immigrant. The cadence of my speech is what gives my talking the interesting sound. You should hear my mommy speak-she learned the british variant of english in college so she has a mixture of British, Russian and Southern accent---imo it is super cool.

yea one of the post docs in my lab is british, i start thinking in british english when i'm talking to her
 
everything sounds so much smarter in a british accent. it could be complete rot but you'd think it was gold

Although, after working with a PI from Spain I found myself muttering, "muy bien, muy bien," around the lab when things were going well, which is what she would always do. :laugh:
