Yeah, that is why I'm against it. Team B could drop a pass on 4th down and the game would be over. In sudden death it's always ended on a team scoring.

Also, team A scores a TD game is over, but if they score a field goal they don't win. It's taking away from the meaning of points. You have more points than the other team whether you score a TD or a Field Goal. It's saying Field Goals are insignificant. As a former High School Quarterback (Yeah that doesn't really give me as much authority as I would like, but it makes me feel bossy) I would not want the game to depend on a touchdown because so many random things could happen during a drive that make a touchdown really hard on just a single drive, thats why they play an entire game lol.

Yea, but games end on an incompletion all the time, so that's nothing new. Besides, that FG is not insignificant. 3 points may not win you the game, but it can go a long way. All your team has to do now is to hold the other team once, and even if you give up a FG you still may win the game yet.

i went shopping for glasses today! now i donno if i should buy the one my insurance fully covers or the expensive one that looks nicer and its $315ish!! i wont wear it much cuz im a contact person but still it might determine it i ever go back..

it's like shoes and clothes, girls rarely wear some that they've bought, but gotta have em just in case!
 
I almost spent more money on my glasses, then I realized that I wear them about 3 days a month - absolute max.

You can get duped into spending so much more than you need to at those glasses stores.
 
well the 315 will end up being about 200 cuz my insurance still coveres some!.. i would like to wear glasses more often cuz i hear contacts are not good for your eye in the long term.. however, knowing me i will be annoyed and go back to contacts just having nicer glasses might inspire me to use them more :nod:

exactly what im afraid of! the ones i liked were prada and look wooden.. im not a brandy person but the fit was just right 😍

Well sometimes the trendy brands are just better quality.

A lot of times they're not, though - like I don't see the big deal about North Face when Columbia makes basically the exact same stuff for a lot cheaper. I guess it's just not as fratty/sorostituty and cool. 🙄

Hmmm...I got new glasses last year. I wish I got fancier ones because I think I might have worn them on a regular basis instead of my contacts. Remember, there'll be plenty of lazy days in med school when you just wanna roll out of bed and go.

float that lazyness in med school is also a good point.. i should probably get them! i donno if i should look more but this was pretty nice and simple 🙂

np🙂. Honestly remember when we 1st were applying. We were both worried wed even be in med school lol. The fact either of us got in with what we had is pretty awesome 🙂. so for ucsf is the nxt batch basically it before a WL or what?
