 I don't think I'd be comfortable picking food off someone elses property.

Well you don't know some of the people in my neighborhood. When my grandpa walked from down the street to do it, that's cool. But the random guy with the shopping cart should not be stopping in my front yard loading his shopping cart with my family's pecans. It's creepy.

I am in a funk. Blah.

BOOOOO funks. Wii night with jla should make things better this Friday, no?

No WAY, you take that back!

Hell no, you started it.

Ok, that was a lie. I actually have no idea how this started.

I have a pecan tree in my front yard. I've had to deal with random people in my yard picking pecans all my life.

I'm not a fan. :lame:

AHAHAHAHAHAHA. <--laughy face for extra funniness

Ohhhh Sammich, feel better. It's that douchey douchebag, isn't it?

You don't know creepy. My house has a small pond in the backyard with fish. My mom came home one day and found a random woman and her kids in our backyard, looking at the fish.

That means that they were walking around the neighborhood, saw the pond from a distance, crossed onto our property, walked past our house, and made their way back. I don't live in the middle of a forest. There are other houses around and people's property is clearly marked. 😕

I looked for an hour and didn't find exactly what I'm looking for...my search skills suck at 1 am. Can someone pls point me in the direction to find an answer to my newb questions?
May 15 is the date that you have to officially tell a Med School "yes" or "no". Is that called confirming, or what? Then, past that date, the only reason to remain on a waitlist is if that is your or only desired school (or your only school) right? What happens if you don't confirm, do they boot you? Not that I'm planning on doing something stupid, but I'm curious how it works. I'm still waiting on a waitlist and a slim shot hold to make my final decision, but want to have an idea.

So let's say you have multiple acceptances. By May 15, you have to tell all but one school that you withdraw your application and don't wish to be in their entering class. Presumably when you were accepted, you had to "accept" the acceptance. And then, by May 15, you have to tell all the schools you're not interested in that you're withdrawing.

On top of that, some schools will require an extra deposit by May 15 if you want to officially enroll. I would check with the specific school to see what they want from you for official enrollment

And you can stay on as many waitlists as you want past May 15.

 Maybe this stuff is more common than I thought. My family had one of these when I was growing up so that could be why we had no trespassers.

I don't think you need to actually confirm. But you need to be holding only 1 acceptance, if you are holding multiple acceptances the schools can see it and become angry (or something).

I think you don't have to do anything but tell the schools you're not going to.

If you don't tell them anything, I think the school assumes you're matriculating.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I'd probably be curious to see some fishes up close if they were wearing sunglasses

It looks so confused, like holy **** what the hell are these things coming from my eyes.

Maybe it's like peacock feathers...to attract the ladies.

i wonder if bubble fish pop each others bubbles when fighting over mates

That sounds painful, and way too aggressive for goldfish. It's probably more like this:

Male 1: Yo dude, can I get with your lady friend?
Male 2: Sure.

...babies are born.
