I have only been to Detroit once, and that was years ago. I definitely need to check it out, I hear the city is really trying to remake itself. Ann Arbor is like a dream come true though, I never imagined I'd like a city so much. 😍 I'm a small-town guy at heart... lived in a town of less than 500 people for 18 years. :laugh:

have you tried going to tools > internet options > advanced tab, scrolling down to multimedia and making sure "Play animations in webpages" is checked?

Understandable. It's worth it then. I was just thinking you could save money by purchasing a not-so-fashionable water bottle. But I'm none to talk because I'm purchasing an 8 cylinder porsche turbo when I become a doctor, no matter how much it will set me back.
 
Even though I picked Baylor, I want St Marys and UNI to win tomorrow.

I would also like for Purdue to beat Duke and Tennessee to beat OSU.

In summary, I would like all of the lower ranked teams to win tomorrow. :laugh:

+1, especially since Oakland is out of it. I try not to be fairweather and usually cheer against UMich, but since the recent destruction of the reputation of the state of Michigan I've decided to cheer for anything that makes my state look better.

That's going to set you back quite a bit.

I'd rather start out with a 40-45k Boxster (if you're talking Porsche).
My dream car might be a Mercedes SL, but I haven't decided yet.

I think I'll start out with a Volvo S80 or a Volkswagen. I just want something reliable that I can drive to work. I'll work my way up to a porsche for my first sports car. A used Carrerra GT is 300k. If I specialize and pull some fraud here and there I'll be able to get that by the time I'm 45. After getting the Carerra GT I'll for sure be able to snag any trophy wife.

I'm sticking with my 04 Civic until it dies. Hopefully that won't be until after residency, but that might be pushing it.

All I know is that my next car will be either a convertible or a coupe, something that I can say I had while I was still young and before I had kids. Maybe a used Corvette or something.

I had a mitsubishi eclipse and it was amazing. Such an awesome drive. I couldn't keep it though cause it was taking a dump in the winter. I had to get towed 3 times last winter. I loved the turbo a ton and needed a car that had a turbo that could handle the snow. I fell in love w/ my volvo when I test drove it. My baby 😍😍😍

Edit: She's a beast too, so I have a feeling she will for sure get through med-school and hopefully residency as well.

That's probably a really good idea if my car dies earlier than expected and I'm not quite ready to buy a new one until I get out of residency.

I'll have to keep that in mind.

I seriously did not know smileys were animated. Wasn't anyone the least bit curious why I was confused about the barfy one!? To me, it just looked bloated. And the lovey one has hearts! It just looked like another smiley face to me.

It's like 199 a month for a Jetta. There's some pretty decent deals. And then you can buy the car when the lease is over for a decent price.

I just confirmed it, I'm getting a porsche as soon as possible. If my parents decide to pay for med-school, I'm taking out loans to buy a porsche.

No, I really don't care about anything sports-related during the summer.

Especially baseball. I can't stand baseball. They play too many games - you don't need 182 games to figure out who's good and
who sucks. The only good thing about baseball is that they start and finish in the same calendar year, which is convenient for championship chronology.

Oh wow, I must say I really like baseball. I don't watch every game or anything, but it's by far the best sports date. The game is so chill, so you can always talk to your girl. The only bad thing is rain delays or extra innings cause then you're stuck with her cause you paid for the tix and you wanna see the game, but if it's a bad date and you want it to end you are sort've screwed. Usually though I've had good experiences and good feedback from baseball dates. And the tix aren't too expensive either.

That's the one thing that seems good about baseball - the chill atmosphere of the live experience. Most sporting events are so tense and nervous from the sheer excitement.

That reminds me, I need to make it to some of LSU's home games - we are the defending national champs trying to repeat this year and we have the best stadium in the country plus the best attendance in the country.
