I know. "OK, we all know it's subjective. Fine. I'll take the lawyer approach and add a caveat onto every subjective term I use, use as in, to employ the use of or to utilize and lawyer approach, as in, ultra wordy but necessarily so in order to tighten loopholes and clarify."

Then we have the other guy saying "Dude, why is her prestige a big deal?" "It isn't, I'm just responding to someone who challenged my facts, read the fricken thread."

I just read some of the responses to that PS tirade thread (or at least what wasn't horribly long). People just suck. :laugh:

I'm so glad to be on the other/accepted side of this website so I don't have to deal with all of that "Is this good?" or "which is better" or "can I get in with this" bullcrap.
 
tOSU gives some money to the highest ranked people in the class, I think...

ppl get super judge-y.

i think my motivation to come to this thread was i didn't like the others. i figured there had to be somewhat normal/less neurotic ppl somewhere on this forum.
 
i actually got into a mstp (i think i will get into another one) a few weeks back (that i actually didn't even really tell anyone, i think)

i might reconsider now

its totally nerdy that i am getting excited about having classes next fall. i get to study, go the library, use my highlighter again. bic and i have been apart for far too long.
 
i'm gonna keep it nameless cuz i think they identified me on sdn and i dont want to make them feel like i'm just going to visit them again (semi second look) to drink on their tab

All 4 of mine were impacted too, but they had to take all of them out in 2 major oral surgeries one month apart. Now I'm prepping for orthognathic surgery in June. I hope Ill be recovered by August.

I dunno. I feel like that is pretty much what we are all going to end up paying. If you add up the annual cost of attendance at most schools you get a number close to that.

I'm studying for Biochem. I haven't even looked at the stuff yet. It's metabolism, so I already know some enzymes and stuff from my microbial physiology class, but there's A LOT that I don't know. Whatever.

post-acceptance, you're on easy street my friend. some might say that passing is sufficient, anything else is gravy on top.

Definitely, but it's also really really easy to just completely underprepare and fail the test.

I didn't realize until this semester how much difference in work there is between a C and an A, and how little difference there is between a C and a D.
