I plan to finish my EC tonight as well as my research essay but I am having hardtime finding an impressive opening sentence for my research essay. any suggesttion?????

I don't think they care how that is written. I mean, I got rejected, but I think it's just basically a list of all your research and what you learned. I just pretty much went in chronological order. You're talking about the 10,000 character one right?

I keep stopping by every so often, but there are other things to be doing outside today. Fixing the boat, for one. 😀

Same MCAT. I didn't apply too late - submitted my AMCAS app on August 4th. I just didn't apply to enough places, and, I'm not going to lie, I didn't want to apply to any more than I did. Those were the only 7 places I wanted to do MD/PhD. I actually added the 7th (UNC) in like October, but they don't review MD/PhD apps until December.

Jordan was a complete player. He dominated in ways Kobe can't quite approach. He won six titles as the No.1 player on his team. He won 5 MVPs and he won 10 scoring titles. If you look at Kobe, you can see how he modeled his game after Jordan's.
But the most important was he revolutionzed and globalized NBA to the rest of the world.

Only MD now. I have enough research experience to be involved in research as an MD. Probably my only good advice would be to make sure you apply to enough places. Get a range of different types of schools (MSTP and MD/PhD programs), and if you know profs at any of the schools that do research like yours, call them after emailing to find out if they're interested in you doing research for them. A lot of times you'll get responses like "email me again when you're accepted," or "I'll talk to you about it in two years when you're getting ready to start your resarch," but don't get frustrated by those.
