Unfortunately, those are most likely our true colors. The Huff and DeRosa acquisitions were kind of a joke. I mean yeah, it's an upgrade over Molina and Rowand/Winn/whoever hitting 5th and 6th, but in all honesty those 2 would be backups on most other teams. I have a real issue with ownership and general management. We should have Adam Dunn in left field, not Mark DeRosa. IMO: Trade Cain or Sanchez for Fielder and give him #25 money.

I could see trading Sanchez. He was on last night but he's hot/cold. Is the ownership the reason we can't afford or just don't pay for some A-list players? With Rowand out we have to play Velez, he's young/fast but just doesn't get the job done. I've liked Huff so far. You're right, though, its the same problems as before. These trades didn't fix it.

It was good and weird...

My interviewer was really cool and laid back and she was SUPER honest about the school with me. Gave me some pros, and also gave me a lot of cons, which was nice as usually I feel like I'm getting a sales pitch from interviewers. We talked about random things for almost 2 hours

They are notoriously slow at responding so I doubt I'll hear back before May 15th. I doubt I'll get accepted though as she asked everything about my cycle and I told her. She talked up some of the schools I mentioned more than she ever talked up AE haha. I'm pretty sure I'd choose Jeff over AE but AE has much better research opps (and is also ranked higher...if that matters). I feel like I'd fit in better at Jeff though, liked the campus better there, the staff, and the location can't be beat. AE has amazing pricing on housing though. I could definitely see myself happy there, but Jeff had MUCH more going on around the actual campus where it would be a hassle to go out somewhere from AE.
