Haha, perhaps, but a mistake which way? A mistake as in they accidentally sent me the temporary waitlist letter or the regular waitlist letter? Not sure if that would make me feel better or worse knowing that lol.

It's just a matter of whether or not a particular phrase is on the letter (which was discovered through deduction on the school specific thread). So... I just felt like it would make for an awkward conversation to ask which one was correct since they don't tell actually you explicitly which list you're on.

you could ask them why two letters, and then ask them why the diff in wording. in the meantime, keep those love letters coming 🙂

Why don't you call them and be like "I got two waitlist letters that say different things. I was just wondering what that meant."

Well, I'm on the waitlists at both Vandy and MCG. And then, I'm still deferred at OSU, which from what I can gather, it means I've been waitlisted at this point. And also, of course, Miami.

Radio in New Orleans sucks horribly, Baton Rouge is slightly better but with no classic rock.

:xf: I just got my research project topic from the research-y guy I'll work with if/when I go to WashU. I'm apparently going to be curing diabetes in mice. Or trying to. :laugh:

You can play Helton until Mark gets going. But I feel like you don't really need an upgrade at 1B. If you need another SP it's a good trade, but if you don't then I wouldn't give up Utley.

EDIT: Actually, CC is off to a better start than I thought.

My starting pitching is Halladay, Arroyo, Peavy, Pettitte, and Strasburg when he starts playing.

Is that good enough? My backup 2B is Clint Barmes.
 
You are basically giving up 1 elite and 1 very good for 2 elites and 1 good. I think it helps you. But Utley is hard to get rid of.

Yea I used to work with mice on a motor neuron study thing; had to paralyze them by injuring spinal cord and then test if the procedure to fix it worked. It's sad 🙁
